Q) EO is leaking from the drainage screw cap. What can i do to remedy other

than replace the EO sump?

There should be a copper washer. Replace that first and see how.

2 ways to modify:

1. Drill a larger hole over the existing one and re-tap again. You'll also need to change to a larger bolt of course.

2. Weld a nut over the existing hole and use a smaller bolt to match the nut.

However, whether it'll cheaper to replace a complete sump, I'm not sure. You'll have to check this out.

Any one can help?

:giddy: Oh gosh..looks like everyone forgotten about you. So...it seem like an intermittent problem as you mentioned sometimes van sometimes cannot. Since there is no cable, I should think that it functions "electrically". What I can guess is that there must be a sensor or somewhat a detector unit that registered your wheel revolution and translated electrically in various level of voltage to give you your speed reading. I too believe that there is nothing spoiled but rather a loose connection somewhere.

Be daring..open up the meter and see any wiring that link to its circuit board and trace it down to the wheel axle area where there is something that register your wheel spin.

Sorry...can help more as my is non vtec using speedometer cable :goodluck:

Definitly there is no current to crank your starter..a typical symptom of a dead battery and likely the rectifier may be affected. Go have the battery change and let the mech check your rectifier once the new battery starts the bike. The rectifier may be working but not charging up to specification to maintain the battery at constant. :goodluck:

Hi to all S4 riders,

I got this problem whereby i am unable to start my bike sometime and i need to push start it. It occurs to me for 5-6 times so far and I got no idea why it cant start. I am riding a Super4 version s. Hope you guys can solve my query!! Thanks in advance.

dudes.. ani1 wit any solution to ma problem???

it's like that when you had a box installed.. a steering damper only can minimise the problem..

other methods to minimise it:

balancing of your wheels,

change steering cone,

change wheel bearings..

may all help a bit..

but why wanna free hand???

Tank Slap..
