My Strom 1000 is doing about 16~17 km/litre on Singapore road. Ride the bike hard constantly on N-S highway, I'm getting about 14 plus km/litre.

 

Your Strom 650 is running on twin spark / cylinder?

Congrats on ur recent adventure. Got to agree with the rear shock. It really sink esp with fully loaded two up. Don't dare take corner especially on the left side. Have u max out both the rebound and suspension height?? Improve a bit but still not enough for me.

 

I noticed that Wee's chain is louder than Vee's. Design wise should be the same rite??

 

PS: How's everybody?? Any meet ups or top ups??

The sizes at daiso are usually small. If you need bigger piece or better quality ones, go for 3M.

hi guys, i do need some advise here.

i went to looi's today & spoke to Lee, i enquiry abt the 2010 V-Strom 1000.

i did saw 2 1000 there (Black & Maroon), Lee told mi that those two 1000 are the 2010 models.

But i'm quite not conviced by the way he put it, it seems like it's a 2009 model that's Y i didn't sign my name on the paper. (he did offer me a reasonable price)

 

is there any way to diff between a 2009 & 2010 model?

If I remember correctly, all bikes have serial no. Same goes for the V Strom. The serial number will be at the side below the tank , on the left side(or right side)

. It's at the area of black color. It will say which way the bike is made. If it is 2009 model, it will say K9, etc.

I went down to accompany my friend to collect his bike just now.

Personally I think all those bikes left(2 Vees and 1 Wee are K9) are K9 model. But I could be wrong.
