i'm curious abt this headlight protector.

1. small stones will still be able to get thru the holes & hit the headlight.

2. will washing be troublesome?

Yeah... I heard of someone before using that set up. But to me the grille works fine. The headlight cover is tough enough but the grille is for assurance and looks.

Locally you can get from Motorworld. If no stock, either you can wait for months, or get from some moto website, or if you friend is flying over to New Zealand check with Ventura (the manufacturer) on which shop in New Zealand carries their stuff.

Used to own the plastic headlight protector, then one fine day go bike wash in JB those fellas took it out and never put back. Only found that my headlight protector is missing when reach SG. When i go back to JB those guys says they already put it back. So of course kena LLST.

That's another reason why I decided to get the grille instead.:dot:

got back my bike yesterday. Tested. no more problems currently after changing rectifier, battery and air filter. Also the TBS did show changes in bike respond. Now smoother in acceleration and moving. :thumb:

Depending on your type of crashbar, you should be able to get the tank off to access your airbox. Just flip up the tank, no need to remove. Not too difficult if you are used to working on your bike.
