LOL! tie the bird down.

 

eh! i was thinking of fixing a switch for fog light and a switch for headlight....den use a console with 2 switches....instead of 2 seperate switches...

huh? VStrom originally come with ONB H4 built-in? Which means there is no need to get another H4?

 

Sorry ehh bro, i am noobie in VStrom's parts. As mentioned earlier, i only bought it (second hand) 1 year ago and i don't have time to customise my bike, only now got some time to explore it's capabilities....

Understand Ano had his springs (front and back) changed to Hyperpro. Anyone else change the spring to some other brand? Motoworld just run out of stock on the rear Hyperpro spring. I'm having about slightly below 200kg with 2-up and luggage system.

No no no ...... wat i saying is our headlight is using H4 1 pair

For those who dono about bulbs

Highbeam and lowbeam within same bulb = H4

High beam 1 side, low beam another side or up and down..... normally is H7

 

Not saying is ONB built-in la.... unless ur dad owns the Vstrom production line :cheers:

The position like sticking out of the body........ Hmmmmmmi scared hit my knee leh

 

I think the best person to ask this is Chief Al Simmnons...Coss he's one of the the pioneers who had slider... But But But he have been MIA for so longggg...

 

Time to call the chief back?

Just miss the spring. Called them last week and they just sold the rear spring one day before my call. Trying to check out here anyone use other type of spring which is readily available and the spring is good for combine weight of 200kg.

Sporting Motor might have Ohlins spring.... BUt i;m not sure if they got stock.

I use the stock spring abut i use a rising dog bone to clear the bottoming

I was quoted $1100 for Ohlins rear shock. How much does the Hyperpro way cost? I'm also exploring beefing up my suspension.

i asked abt wilber and its 900 onwards....depending on the type of adjustability.

 

the dogbone is one way to increase clearance~ other than that....change suspension. lol

Regarding Ohlins's fork springs and rear shock absorber, there are no ex-stock with Bikelab or Racewerks. If you want, have to place deposit for pre-order with unspecific lead-time. This was 2-weeks ago news....
