Hi Guys.. I have decided to buy the Hecko Becker side panniers after much considerations. I am buying the junior flash 40. For me, it look better as it has silver linings at the sides.

 

Check it out on the website. The web site doesn't have the flash junior. U can go at Mtecknik at kaki bukit OR wait see my bike as it will be installed in 2weeks time. hehe

Btw I went back to Ah Boy, the Givi V35 will be available on end-Jan onwards, price for sides+frame is around $600++ a steal if you ask me, but how did they get Givi so cheap? (Fake ones from China?)

dude so u saying that whole set including the box will cost slightly above 1k ... If u decide to buy & assemble the set can u post the pic ( if nice Then i might also consider geting 1 ) ... hehe.

I am waiting for Ah Boy's to come in and check that out first, I like the design of the Givi, maybe he gets his from Malaysia. Read that Givi opened a plant in Malaysia, so prices should be more competitive.

Yeah.. its e same as the previous junior side panniers for 30litres or 40litres.. the diff that has is the silver linings on the sides (FLASH ey called it).

I dun mind the gap. For me, as long it is strong and durable during high speed And Most imptly, blends weel with my bike.. hehe..

Anyway, i will only use them during touring...coz i hav a top box for street local riding...

The Genting trip I have not yet order and was waiting for mass order.. but in e end, ey have mixed feelings on which type of side panniers to get.. Some waiting for the v35 to be released.. So I made my mind to order first.. Be the guinea pig.. Haha

I asked Ah Boy about the price but I am a little reserved until the box is really here to confirm. Your last post from the UK seems to confirm Ah Boy's claim of that price point.

Hi bros, was at Ah Boy this morning, the Givi V35 arrived, only has 2 limited stock. Price of boxes plus installation is SG$800+. Not the price he first quoted because he explained that he has limited stock and new so the price will be higher.

 

Anyways thinking about it. Do not need it so soon.

How are you bro.. Well just for your info.. as the group was discussing in the last Mr. Prata meet up. I managed to order the side panniers from David Silver Spares as well.. It was relatively smooth. GBP175 which is approx. S$530. I don't know about the shipping charges because I brought it back from U.k. myself.. maybe the other guys who have the experience may be able to advise.

 

Also the colour available is only red/silver.. so additional cost of respray if your bike is not those 2 colours.. like in my case. So any recommendation where to go for respray guys? and is the installation tough? think there is some drilling involved right?

no drilling necessary and installation is straight forward.

Thanks for the advise bro, that is a nice model you have there. I am still traveling without one at the moment, I find the prices of the current ones in Singapore really over the top, I think I will wait awhile more.

I wanted to get from Mah when I get my VFR las week.But was told that no more stocks,they brought in 3 sets of V35s,2 are with ah boy,1 at motorworld.

 

My friend riding a fazer brought 1 set from ah boy,$580 for the boxes,$180 for the racks.Another of ah boy set went to Southern Motor and was fixed on a GSR.Motorworld selling a set with racks for $1030.

 

I had placed order from Mah for the next shipping,which is end on June.
