Modding the S4

Hi there fellow bikers,

 

Finally.. Just passed my 2A today & am able to ride my S4 legally after almost 2 months of "illegal" riding.. Haha...

 

Anyways, I'm thinking of spending my day off tomorrow to mod up my bike.. Have done up some stuff on it & I'm looking for modding..

 

Anyone can tell me where to find the following?

 

1) Carbon fiber wrap for parts.

2) Scrambler fairing customized for S4.

3) Carbon fiber rear hugger.

4) Alarm system.

5) Any other cosmetic mod.

1) You guys know how much is the cost for the carbon fiber wrap?

 

2) Which auntie shop got scram shrouder leh? A lot of aunties & uncles in SG leh.. Haha..

 

3) Yeah, I figured.. Saw a carbon fiber print one sometime ago...

 

4) As for the alarm system, I'll not be going for the remote start thingy as that'll disable the HISS.. I want something that is touch sensitive, those that'll be activated when someone touches the bike.

 

5) Other cosmetic mod like LEDs but will save this for the last after I put in all the other parts. Also contemplating whether to put a back box or panniers & things like handle bar protector.

Just did a trip to Regina to do up some stuff.. Get to know the boss a little better thus get the following at a bargained price:

 

1) Fork brace - $50

2) Alarm with pager system - $180 (Original quoted at $280)

3) Pair of rear LED signal with some regulator thingy - $100

 

Plus he gave me some carbon fiber wrap for free.. Haha...

 

He also gave me an insider offer of a Airoh flip up full face helmet for less than $200.

 

You think I got a bargain guys?

1) What brand of fork brace? Decal is like triangular?

Original price quoted by Darren is about $300+ for the Airoh. I got the carbon gray one, flip up full face. Quite comfy and quiet.. The final price I got from Derrick (the boss) is just too good to be true.. It's way way below $200.. Colors wise they have shiny black, matt black & silver.. I think some colors might be out of stock already.. The one I got in L size is the last piece, according to him.

I'll be installing a carbon fiber yoshi on my bike later.. Giving a pass to the GPR... Send the bike for tuning in the afternoon & spend the evening polishing it up..

I put up at Yio Chu Kang area.. I'd be more than honored to share tips on modding our machines.. Just done up the LEDs, BSPP, grounding, volt meter & speedo lighting last night with Dr Guru.. Thumbs up Dennis.. Job well done!!!
