History

25th March 2009 - Passed 2B

1st April 2009 - Bought 1st bike, a 2nd hand TA200 Honda Phantom cruiser (Still riding it)

6th Aug 2009 - Bought a used but overhauled Suzuki DR200se scrambler (Scrapped in 2010)

Hope you can join us. It will be the first time I am riding with you. My hand cannot do long trip yet but short one like 60km still can lah. Slowly increase the distance over time. By year end, really wanna join you to northern thailand bro.

wil ride to Betong for 2k Baht, Massage, Sauna, see chiobu, cool air, play corner, hotspring, communist tunnel, winter flower garden, bakuteh, and Channel 1

Date : 8-10 Aug 2009

Day : 3 days, its Public Holiday!

Total distance : 1600km

Time to meet : 8 Aug, 4am

Place to meet : GP Petronas

Condition : Must be at least to travel 110kmh

 

IMPORTANT : The min recovery fee of bike from Thai border to SG is SGD1000. So, pls ride safely.

 

 

1. Ninjapura

2. Cool cruiser

3. lwfc

4. dogshit2 + GF

5. Oriental

 

Preparation Tips

1. MUST bring log cards and insurance

2. At least 10-12 hours to reach Betong, and the final 100km is mountaineous road, so ur bike has to be tip-top condition. Pls service it at least 1 week before so u have time to know is there any problem after ur servicing

3. Sleep enough b4 the trip, at least 10 hours ride ahead

4. Our 2b bike has only one piston, so pls put any lubricating / anti-friction additive u can afford in ur engine oil during the last servicing. I myself using Liquid Moly MOS or OWS Engine Protector.

think you can go back tell them piston problem....demand new head, block, valve, piston and petrol

Tdks...why you not going har? Why so sudden har?.....I see piston problem

maybe i kiasi, but i never do hard run-in.... always gentle gentle on first 5k... I still human and machine the very same prinsiple... at first gentle n slow, later she will ask for hard n fast...

advise advise, if forever take advise forever in SG never ride... sometimes we have to be crazy when youth, right :angel:

 

i rem last time i was young, rode kup anyhow go, fall n up...

 

but now youngster mindset is, wan ride, wait til cl 2 la... big bike... but then got cl2 liao, sayang bike alot, never dare ride out... i dun understand lo...

but experience, its priceless, cos i wont re-do it as often though

ok thanks alot, burn for me in dvd k... this version is not their standard dvd (which I having now)... maybe its special limited edition for TV...

 

btw we just back from kukup, the weather today very nice... nice seafood, nice boat trip to mangrove, thanks ah koh and his vara frens... :thumb:
