I am not sure or aware about the price increased. If you do come to know about and mirror that is bigger than the our's and can be used on the Atlantic,do let me know,cos I prefer to have a bigger mirror....

Hi all brudders,

 

Finally I had got myself an Altantic, Cool bike! But somehow, the fuel comsumption seem to be v xiong! May I know wat is the average dist that you all can go with a full tank?

And I jus called up mah motor to ask the pricing of the mirrors( as mine is really v loose) , and i was quoted $80 for one side!! Wat a big joke!

Can anybody who has changed the mirror before shed a light on this issue?

Where and how much have you pay for it?

If you have just bought your bike it's still under warranty,have it rectify at the bike shop.....

Mine I bought 2nd hand bike, so no longer under warranty. It is a 2 years old + bike.

So sad, guess I will try make a visit down to Mah motor to ask again.

bro, the mirror is around this pricing....the X9 amalifi mirror is about the same price too. come look for me, i see if i could help get you a slightly lower price...but dun bet too high on it cus these mirrors are ordered in at cost price about .... (couldnt tell u online but i could send u an sms) its very close to the $80.

mine is in km/miles and tripmeter is in miles also.... Dont like the speedo and the tripometer see already very blur..... hey is it normal to have the temperature sometimes venture into 3/4 zone?? I am running in now but then the temperature a bit too high isnt it... And one more thing i realise my exhuast got a burned smell do u all have this smell when you first bought your bike? The smell is like those new wok then you cook maggi that kind...

my bike even till now temp will oso go up to 3/4 mark if idle o travel at low speed...

 

tink the EO does make a diff...

the temp seem lower when me use Motul EO, now using Maxima...

 

Believe tat de burning smell is normal...

dun tink it is anyting to b alarm abt...

ic ic... so there's TWO types of reading for atlantic.Abit confused initialy cos didnt notice trip meter is in mile, Tot the dist is inaccurate. But the design is nice (mho)

 

 

..... i've also Xperienced e Char kueh Teow burnt smell but no more now after sum time. Its norm i guess.

EO really makes a big difference ah? Cos its new so dont know what EO they put in for me also.. think first 1k going to change other EO then... BTW has anyone tried using water wetter for coolant? Is it good?

 

Oh yah has anyone tried disconnect your battery cable? Cos i going overseas for 3 weeks. Is it advisable to disconnect the cable? :confused:

Answering to your Questions:

 

1. Is your scoot water pump working? did you check your coolent level? Any leaking? (best way is to take a close look for you to ensure there's no problem)

 

2. If yours is a brand new bike from Mah Pte, they usually use SPC EO

 

3. is a good idea to do that, it may not help much but it do help abit.

if me remember correctly..

 

will need 1.2l of EO if got change oil filter...

 

if just change EO is 1l....
