lovely and quite a strong squad..Older generation at the back for solid strength and experience..speed and pace supplying from both wingside..powerful freekick taker in Juninho and long range shooter in scholes..and youth and pace in the forwards..terrorizing the 6yard area..espacially with Podolski/Rooney and Torres..

 

its only a dream..it won't become a reality till i myself become a manager in Man.U..

grateful for his services he provided for us throughout his time in United but felt rather sick to see him leave to Real Madrid..a team worth millions with sooo much quality stars yet producing NADA!!..

Sir Alex Ferguson is rumoured to be chasing the Argentinian as a replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy, while a host of Europe's top club's are also likely to be keen on the 22-year-old.

 

Tevez is good friends with Gabriel Heinze and even attended a Corinthians media conference last season wearing a United shirt, which may suggest he would welcome a move to Old Trafford.

 

Tevez wants to leave Brazil after he celebrated scoring an equaliser against Fortaleza by gesturing to the Corinthian fans to be quiet after they had jeered the side when they fell behind.

 

The media and supporter reaction to his actions has prompted Tevez to state that "it is difficult to stay at Corinthians".

 

He said: "Florencia (Tevez's daughter) is very scared and my wife is too.

 

"They are very sad. Things which the Corinthians supporters did are not easy to forget."

 

Tevez met with chief supporters' group 'Gavioes da Fiel' (Hawks of the Faithful) on Thursday in a bid to end the feud but the former Boca Juniors forward is not convinced he will stay in Brazil.

dont be too hopeful though...

 

this season is juz another season for Man Utd to build up the squad

 

furthermore, they dont have enough depth for current squad. see last season, they lost Scholes mid-way and only by the end of the season, they are playing good football - which is of course too late as Chelsea are getting the points back

 

unless if the youngsters can prove their hunger for success, it will juz be another trophy-less campaign

 

I've seen Mau Utd grew from Norman Whiteside to Eric Cantona and now......Wayne Rooney.

 

As you know of the famous '92 youth (Neville bros, Butt, Scholes, Becks), that will be the ever best Man Utd Youth Program....and it took seven years (after disposition of Paul Ince, Kanchelskis, Mark Hughes and even Cantona) before the excellent Treble in 1999

Ballack was released on a free due to the fact that his contract has run out and that he refused to sign a contract with Bayern..

 

Carrick will definitely assist and give a helping hand in the Mau.U squad..he has a capability of scholes only less lethal..and he passes the ball well..put aside his poor performance in the 06 World Cup..that's mainly due to lack of match practice..now that he is in Man.U..he will be given more opportunity and more support from Sir Alex Ferguson(SAF)..based upon last season when Carrick was in Tottenham..he was excellent and assisting Defoe..Mido..Robbie Keane in scoring..he together with Aaron Lennon and Lee Young Pyo..were creating riots down the center and flanks..

 

With the options that SAF have..he'll definitely place Carrick in the central right..together in the center with Scholes..I'm going to call it the English Canal..Scholes..long range shooter and excellent passer of the ball..great vision he has..Carrick..tire-less worker..great vision of passing..and a good midfield finisher when in up-front..

 

it will be interesting to watch..

and there are lots of rumours that Marcos Senna is coming to Man.U..he will be the next closest target if SAF can't sign Torres..SAF is also in the hunt for Carlos Tevez..and there are news stating that Tevez isn't feeling comfortable at Corinthians due to the fans reactions against him..and there was once he wore a Man.U jersey into a Corinthians conference..

all mere rumours but it could be a possibility in time to come..

it will be interesting to watch..

......but what Fergie needs is a hardcore midfielder like Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira, Gattuso or Makalele.

Players like them will make opponents much more inferior. With current English football style, there's no way you can win a game without having robust yet creative players.

 

1. Torres - most likely to come, only after next season.

2. Tevez - another South American striker? hope Fergie still remember how he rated Forlan highly and yet, another flop signing.....

3. Senna - May have not heard abt him. But Fergie did reject the possibility of signing Defoe, whose skills are comparable to Rooney. But will he be homesick, like Reyes?

4. Mascherano - Hardworking midfielder. Performed well in WC. Hope not another Veron case!!

 

my POV - South Americans midfielder and strikers cannot suit the current English style. Their style is much suited to skill n flair of Spanish La Liga. Only South Americans defenders are needed as they are much more rugged and robust. The way they went in for the ball, even pacey strikers like Owen and Henry are fearful of them.

apparently..no matter how desperate SAF wants players of that playing position..it just seems that NO one wants to come in..Gattuso..tough turtle to persuade him out of Milan..Vieira..where is he going to go now since Juventus is now in Serie B.. Keano..an inspirational captain who has left us..Makelele..that faggot in Chelski..forget it..useless bugger..

 

Marcos Senna is a Brazilian convert to Spain and he played for Spain in the World Cup'06..he was good..upon analyzing..his playstyle is like Reyes only less flair..more direct..and he is more a central player rather than a flanker..

 

actually..Forlan wasn't a flop..Fergie bought a world class player..only that Forlan was playing in the wrong club..i believe our game play doesn't suit his style..take a look at him after he left us and went to Villareal..he was amongst the top scorer for the past 2 seasons in La Liga..and speaking of Villareal..i do hope Riquelme is a United Devil one day..he'll be an interesting player and a wonderful Captain..
