Wanted - friendly insurance broker

I'm a UK citizen shipping an Australian-registered Honda Transalp to Singapore. I'm riding it through Malaysia and Thailand, and ultimately to the UK.

 

I need Singapore / Malaysia 3rd party insurance for one week in order to ride it from the port and cross the Malaysia border, but I haven't found an insurance company yet that can help. Any suggestions?

I see that you've got a quotation from AA for the insurance that you seek. I'd say that it's probably a good deal so go for it.

Typically Singapore insurance would cover you from Singapore all the way up to 50km from the last state of West Malaysia ie, including southern Thailand. Anyway you would need to get separate thai insurance at the malaysia/Thai border immigration.

 

So perhaps you can check if the AA insurance quote is the same.

 

Malaysia is notorious for bike theft even in busy broad day light.
