not mine definitely.. coz never go jurong west.. hee.. Neways sorry uh guys.. jio then no answer, so i go back my office, get my keys, have a drink with my bike then head home... Reaching my place, my fuel go to reserve... muahaha... so it's 200km before reserve.. Is it okay?

 

Guys.. about the insurance thingy as mentioned by macan.. anyone got suggestions as to who else I should approach to get it cheaper? Need to make the person bite his tongue uh..

I actually love riding in the rain cos my mixture is fairly lean and the increased humidity compensates for it.

 

For those going,.... Mix extra 150ml of 2T to 10 litre petrol when going long distance.

Waterproof everything. Cars & bikes cant go together. Either the driver curse & swear or the riders went crazy waiting.

 

I agree with everything EXCEPT ADDING 2T INTO YOUR TANK. This is the best way to get a seizure. Adding additional 2T with injection 2T will cause your mixture to lean out. Follow this advice at your own risk.

 

Case in point, Vik added 2T into his tank for track use and leaned out his mixture so much that his cylinder overheated and melted his spark plug.

If you're using injection, stick to it. Increase the intake slightly using the 2T pump adjustment rocker.

 

If you're premixing, up your jets by a mark, and increase your 2T:fuel ratio slightly.

 

As for waterproofing, get large zip lock bags. Best is to invest in a good waterproof bag like Ortlieb.

200km sounds alright for an old bike. If your bike is new, from what I gather it should cover about 300-320km before it hits reserve (based on estimates from new RS125 owners for models 2001-2007).

 

Sorry to hear about your insurance fiasco. Tsk tsk... very bad business practices. I hope you get it resolved amicably.
