Lacrimosae, your lane changing is awesome! Thanks for sharing the clip, I really enjoyed it (preferred the video with the ambient sound). I just stuck my sony cybershot under the headlights and surprisingly it turned out quite well. Primitive but effective. There were vibrations but generally still viewable. Next time round, I will do a day time shoot with a little more cars around (like extras in a movie). hee hee.

Camera is an Oregon Scientific All-Terrain Camera ATC2000. Shockproof waterproof sports which is originally designed for helmet mounting. But I used a short strap to mount on the right intake below the right clip-on throttle unit as mentioned in previous posts.

 

Subsequent videos will be shot from the left fork leg next to the front wheel. Less engine vibration is transmitted there. But when I went over a speed hump, can see my front end go airborne and come down pretty hard.

You mean the 7 days of my bike ownership? Paise la want to share here... Mostly my own mistakes of misjudgment and what not. Rider to be blamed la...

 

Altogether I spent like $400plus on parts and repairs liao.. Now my bike look like a year old or something.. Didn't change fairing, not intending to anytime soon until someone approve of my confidence of not scratching it again.

What do you mean by burnt?

 

If the plug is melted, it means your combustion temperature is too high.

Mixture is too lean due to any (not limited to one) of the following:

1) Excessive 2T (you premix 2T into the tank AND use injection 2T)

2) Irreconcilably uneven jets that do not compensate well during the overlap

3) Usage of jets too small for the mixture

 

If the plug is simply excessively coated with carbon, it means the mixture is too rich.

Rich mixture is usually caused by any (though not limited to one) of the following:

1) Excessively oversized jets

2) Irregular or restricted air flow to the carb

3) Improperly positioned float inside the float bowl, resulting in wrong fuel level

 

Gotta determined what is wrong with the SPARK PLUG first before you can determine what is wrong with your bike.

 

So, is it melted, or simply coated with carbon?
