hi all , pertaining to the problems on my digital metre , would need some advise as i bought this rs06 2nd hand and it doesn't come with the erm manual. okay for the metre right , on the top right hand corner there is one key thing with water , wtf is that. it doesn't go off , the bike shop which i bought from doesn't know wtf is that , and 2ndly , he says he's importing some ****ing sensor for the gear because my speed stays at 0 even when riding. and 3rdly , there is like small bars moving up and down on the right side of the metre. and how can i see my fuel gauge? does it display on the metre? peh cek la.

to continue , there is a small button on the left side beneath the grip which i can press , i realise that my mileage doesn't jump at all it stays at 17348 forever. and when i press it again it moves to some trip thingy and some lap thingy and i can't set it. only the voltage jumps up and down , how to set? what problem is it?

if the button is the left side most bottom button, its the lap timer button. For when you go track or what, you can press the button to start timing when you start.

you really dont know how to research first before buying the bike dont you???

 

 

 

QN 1: okay for the metre right , on the top right hand corner there is one key thing with water.

 

 

ANS: its not a key with water. its TEMPERATURE. its not meant to go off. FYI, Below that "key thing" is the temperature gauge. the ideal temperature for the bike is 3 bars.

 

 

 

QN2: he's importing some ****ing sensor for the gear because my speed stays at 0 even when riding. i realise that my mileage doesn't jump at all it stays at 17348 forever. and when i press it again it moves to some trip thingy.

 

 

ANS: Your trip meter and odometer doesnt work if ur speedometer is not working.

 

 

QN3: how can i see my fuel gauge? does it display on the metre?

 

ANS: No. There is no fuel gauge. You can only see a yellow fuel pump symbol when your fuel tank hits reserve.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moral of the story is please do yourself a favor by researching abt the bike before purchasing it. If you dont have the manual then GOOGLE is your best friend.

It is ok if you guys here want to act all-knowing and mislead new riders. Just hope new riders considering the problematic Ape will not get conned. I was lucky I never get an Ape when I passed.

 

We can always have a shoot out and prove who is speaking the truth. It will be nice to see people eating their own vomit, esp those who act as though they are experts. Hah.

are you even in a position to comment when you have not personally experienced what riding an Aprilia is like?

 

I have not commented on what riding a KRR150 or NSR150 is like because simply, I have not ridden it before.

 

So, in simple terms, do not comment if you're such an ignorant airhead or things may simply get rather nasty for you.

 

I apologise if the words seem a ittle harsh, but that is my opinion on whether people should make judgement without getting their facts straight.
