Hello all Aprilia Techies out there..

I have a small problem I need advise on.

I'm trying to get my biting point closer to the handlebar and have already maxed out the screw on the clutch lever side.

Is there by any chance I can further tighten up on the clutch side for cleaner dis-engagement of the clutch?

Yours sincerely,

Seraph (ASRC - Aprilia Senile Riders Club)

=p

Yes.

The knob on the clutch lever is merely used for fine-tuning or tightening the cable on the fly after extensive use stretches the cable.

If you need a big adjustment, use the special wrench to loosen the nut on the side of the clutch housing.

Hey lac, what time you conducting your DIY tomorrow? I would like to drop by :),

Hopefully with Yag if he's free.

DIY will commence at 3pm. Am waiting for my bike to get its new tires fitted. Even if I dont get my bike back by then, I still have plenty of work cut out for me to DIY my 3 bicycles.

Bring yag along. I'd like to buy him lunch.

Im experiencin it now .. not much .. gotta change the float bowl gasket lah ..

If the whole floor wet it cld be a cat urine ard ya bike makes u tink its petrol .. quite absurb oledi ..

Could also be a defective fuel valve in the carb. The valve should cut off fuel flow when the fuel level in the float bowl reaches a preset level, but if the valve is defective, it allows the fuel to fill the bowl up beyond the overflow level.

guys any idea wat 2t n tyres recommended for rs125?? im currently using Motul 800 for 2t n Bridgestone Battlax tyres..

Motul 800 is fine. Actually the type of 2T does not matter at all. What really matters is the ratio of 2T to petrol. You can control the ratio accurately by premixing, which contrary to common misconception, is actually very easy and convenient.

Battlax is rubbish. The tires listed below are superb.

hmmm i'm using motul 710 ..so far so good la..and my stock tyres would be dunlop sportmax a-10.

a-10 is a really good tire for street and track, in the wet and dry. Great choice!

Sure or not? Miss me? You better remind me about the Band of Brothers and Aprilia manual. I still have your kids' toys with me.

Chris would love to be here to catch up but he's off to his honeymoon. Otherwise he'd be at my DIY too. Sigh... Why does getting old also mean having less time for the important things in life?

Yo! whr to get d motul 2t ah? I'm using Pirelli Diablo Rosso, veri gd grip on bth wet n dry :thumb:

Pirelli Diablo is another good tire to recommend. Not bad ah, you guys all using kickass tires... No wonder you all love playing on the street. The grippy feeling is too :thumb:

Dont know until I can see it. If you want me to list the possibilities, they would be:

- loose electrical contacts from vibration

- corroded components from rain damage

Am using Metzeler M1 Front 110/70 Rear 150/60. Changing to M3 today. Got them from JR, who also sells Dainese apparel.

whr to get arrow pipe?

arrow pipe fast euff for rs125?

I got my arrow at First Motor. 750 i think. Picking up later today or tomorrow.

Edwin aka "xxes123" also has a new Gianelli for sale. Suggest you contact him if you interested.

My 0.02 is dont do anything to your bike if uncessary. Keep it stock. I was happy with my bike before but decided to be greedy and go for more power.

My quest to derestrict my bike over the last 2 weeks have proven to be more challenging (ie irrtating) and expensive than i expected. Hopefully all will be finalized and done by today.
