I did'nt really inspect it but if my memory did'nt fail me the left handbar is abit loose but the engine is still in ride-able condition... the only thing is the side stand sensor must have been damaged because when we try to engage gear the engine cut of itself.... also the gear lever is broken.... others are just fairing damages and IU destroyed.

than my side fairing and head fairing crack..lol..and gear lever knob break.

my left handlebar was shaky..need change the nut as the mech say..

total cost i spend it abt 2k siya..

repair at mah motors..

1)labour charge-$80

2)front fairing red-$658

3)LH baffle black-$88

4)LH side panel upper fairing-$670

5)handle bar LH-$32

6)screw m10X60-$10

7)gear lever-$91

8)lever rubber-$6

9)front signal LH-$72

10)mirror insertation left-$20

11)side stand switch-$102..

 

total + GST= $1957

and 2t must only put agip meh??cannot motul or mobil1??

at the moment i only can find mobil1 siya..they keep saying motul out of stock.

 

EVERYDAY FULL TANK?? SIOW. and average speed 110? cannot be laa.. i think your tank gt hole or u go KL and back?

 

2t: agip speed. as long as its 100% FULLY SYNTHETIC ... tats the keyword..

if like tat u take out the side stand wire. there shud be 3 of them. join the brown and green wire together. i think. then can engage gear one..

Yeah i can imagine how bad it was. Luckily his body didn't break dude. bike break can repair. Body break that's a whole diff issue. Even LAB don't sell spares for that. I hope he recovers soon.

Motul you can find at alot places e.g Racewerks at UBI, Auntie Shop....

 

For Agip, you can find them at Republic motor near Kaki bukit area....

 

Mobil 1 I duno le... never use before... In fact I used Motul all the way cause I like some kinda sweet smell from the 2T....

Maybe I'll go up today by myself to help fix the bike and get it into a ride-worthy condition.

 

How bad is the damage to the bike?

 

So sorry about the last minute changes.. We just need to find a way to disable the sidestand sensor as we're unable to kick the bike into gear. Bike able to start without any problem, just that sensor issue prevented us from riding the bike off to the house. I had to kick it back.. Solid 15 minutes of pushing.

For the side stand, the switch is a simple circuit that's closed when the stand is in the 'stowed' position. If the switch is the same as the Y2K models', here's 3 easy steps to bypass it:

 

1. trace the wire bundle holding the 3 wires.

 

2. look at the switch from behind (if unable to get a good look, remove the sidestand). The circular switch has 2 contact points, and the wires connecting to them.

 

3. cut the wires above the contact points and splice them together, thus fooling the CDI into thinking that the sidestand is stowed, allowing the bike to be ridden.

So sorry bout that but you know lately, I'm very free. It was up to Vik and his schedule.. Since he's the subrider for Chung's bike, it was his call.. I would have gone just now and get it up and running if I could.

Race fairing is a type of fairing it comes stock with no headlights, no taillights, no signal lights and single seater... If want to use on Sg roads must modify and cut holes to it...

 

Normally people who buys race fairing because they intend to bring their bikes to race track and they want to prevent from damaging their stock fairings. Race fairings are cheaper than stock fairings in terms of value however at the same time race fairings are lighter than stock fairings...

 

if you want order from overseas it cost you around 1.3-1.7k If I not wrong, got few brands to choose from e.g sharkskinz.... however you can get local shops, some do carry and they selling about $1050 + installation...

 

Do note the race fairings come with only 1 colour which is white....
