yeah u need some poisons.out guru with his pimped-out ride is currently WIA.he got a lot of poison to poison u.but we are happy to point out some poisons.be warned, there are risks to using poisons.

What's WIA? Do you mean MIA? I just conferred with Edwin a few days ago... Maybe he's just busy, not MIA.

Anyone wants to meet today at 3pm?

I'll be having lunch at Holland Village Sushi Tei.

Eh, you really should read my posts through before replying.

I thought you meant Edwin was MIA. I mentioned Edwin because I thought you were referring to him as the guru with the most tricked up bike.

As far as poisons go, Chung's bike is not modded, just slightly tricked up with some additions which may or may not have been beneficial to his bike's performance. You want modded, go for Stage 3 tuning on a 125cc cylinder. The Polini 154cc is not really a 'mod' per se.

Chung's bike is a bee sting compared to Edwin's bike - the box jellyfish's neurotoxin which is capable of killing a horse under 10 minutes.

Don't know any Esther. Too many pretty faces, they're all a blur.

Am meeting Chris tonight for Dominican cigars and single malt whiskey. Wish we could meet up more often. I always have too much stuff from overseas to give away. I bought over 3kg of the finest chocolates this trip.

Got it for about $100, done in a few hours. Some drilling required.

My bike is a '98 model Replica. I did at my void deck. I made the quick release plate holder and sawed away the original bracket myself.

Then I cut the wires and added the male-female type sockets so that the signal indicators can be disconnected quickly and easily. I also properly soldered and waterproofed all the wiring so prevent current leaks and short circuits. ALL bike shops will only use black tape.

If you want anything done the right and proper way, do it yourself.

The flatspot at 5k-6k RPM is common, even with 34mm it'll be there. Its just a matter of tuning. Mine is reduced to 5.5k-6k but I dont even feel the flatspot that much.

The 34mm carb has a wider range of tuning options, so yes it's nice if you had a 34mm carb. But if budget is an issue, stick to the 28mm.

Most riders here have a 34mm carb.... :)

Finally, another newbie who's gonna be so obsessed with removing the flatspot.. You're on your way to becoming another talented ride??? :p

Dont think about it too much. If you're good at handling your bike, most of the time you wont even feel that flatspot. Neither would you be hovering in the 5-6k rpm zone.
