THIS ONE THEN FIERCE ON TRACK!

Check out his RPM range.. One of the few vids that tempt me to get a strong forged piston, redo the tuning and try to tear it up on the track. I know for sure my CDI allows me to hit 12k RPM (since I've tried that once before) :D

Enjoy the vid and lets speculate what he has installed in his bike. :D

Both ways, u stiLL fierCe to me dude. Haha!! :cheer:

The fella also very fierCe. Now wTh did he just do. :slapforehead:

haha..dont laugh siya..i dont noe..

noob here le..haha..teach me..dont laugh..haha

ohh.alrite bro..thx for the explanation...u have being really very helpful for me:cheeky:.

so roughly hw much does it cost to change to cone filters.mmm...

wow..tts high..

hw u get so much sia..i really no idea y my petrol is draining so fast..hmmm

damnn..is it only my bike.???

omg...y bro..y u say aprilia sux..

damn...i just got mine 1+ months ago...

its acceleration and the lookwise its really very nice wad bro..

hmmm..any idea y mine is stock and draining so much??

Overly rich carburetion. Need to lean out your air/fuel ratio by changing either your atomizer, needle height, main jet, or all of the above.

Your FC may be high due to a faulty fuel inlet valve. When fuel inside the float bowl reaches the optimal level, it doesn't cut off the flow and continues to fill up, spilling out from the overflow outlet.

Might also be leaking from a misaligned float bowl gasket.

Change cone filter depends.... There are pipercross and KNN if I am not wrong... you can get pipercross cone filters through the MO which lawrence is doing as the website that they are ordering stuff on happen to carry the pipercross cone filters. KNN I am not sure already...

Your FC is high is because your carb tuning.... Go for re-tune and I am sure the FC will be better... unless your fuel pipe is leaking....

Please stop calling the K&N filter 'KNN'. I don't know what you have against them or why you hate it so much, but I do like K&N and I'd appreciate you stop swearing.

I remember my sergeant used "KNN!" or "KNNBCCB!" a lot in the army. Now no longer in army I don't like to be reminded of my sergeant constantly. Thanks, thanks.... -.-"

You can choose to get the Cone air filter but do note that Cone filter works if you ride high-end all the while.... I used to have cone filter but due to my relax riding I switch back to airbox....

Re-tune best go to shop e.g First Motor @ ubi etc etc.... I cannot help you on re-tune... I not that expert yet..

Cone filter is good for race bikes as they are running at max revs all the time. But an open airbox is almost as good a compromise.

Cone filters are hard to tune for lower revs as the airflow at low rpm is unpredictable and not consistent.

This is typically how the tacho should look when riding on track. There is no reason for it to be dipping anywhere lower than 9,500 rpm. Notice that when it does fall below 9,000rpm, the rider slips the clutch to compensate, instead of downshifting, which wastes precious tenths of a second, to bring the revs back up into the optimal powerband. Well played.

I'm sorry you didn't get my brand of humour, but please don't patronise me and tell me to 'relax' when I'm clearly not the one getting worked up. Actually if you put K&N or BMc filters in your airbox its not really mean easier to tune... I think the main concern is are you still using the airbox or you switch to cone filters...... That is where the main concern when comes to tuning... If I am not wrong so far.... Got to ask lawrence as he tried before both....

David, I think whether or not u have cone filter or airbox fitted, still depends on the way u ride. I was crazy enough to put a metal cone with a wire mesh replacing the airbox way back. Felt good but my carbs always needed to be cleaned off from the debris. U just need to know how to control ur throttle and know when the power is ready at the twist of the wrist. :thumb:

Correct me if i'm wrong... Hehehe... Feedback from personal experience lah.. :p

On my long trip up to KL, I notice that I tend to hover the RPM around 7500, gear 6. When I'm around 5-7 car lengths away from the front vehicle, I will twist the throttle abit more to have the instant pickup to 9500rpm. That's when I overtake and quickly move back to the left lane.

If all goes well, April I'll be back on the road.

hmm i think so too... the wrist plays alot

but I meant to rider125 was the tuning thing... cause lawrence told me before cone filter difficult to tune because of the inconsistant airflow rate... Lawrence correct me if i am wrong...

Battery gonna be dead already if I'm not mistaken.

As for the coolant, I think you have a leak somewhere. Maybe fill up the reservoir to the brim, start the engine, let it idle. You might see the water / coolant being sucked into the pipelines. Then keep topping up till you dont see it going in anymore. At least now, you are ensured that you have coolant in the bike.

From there, you can slowly find the leak if there's any.

Btw, who's bike did you get?

But the battery less than 1mth old sia, abit fast to die.. gosh, dun know wat happen, btw, I got AngKuGuay Rs250, the one with the purple front forks.. thxs buddy, would love to catch up w the grp to learn more. Do let me know on the next outing, Cheers. .

Yeah that's true. Heard Lawrence told me the same thing too dude. Anyways, just enjoy ur ride however u want it to be. Most importantly, ride safe. Been seeing a lot of accidents off-late. :pity:

another thing with cone filters is whenever it rains, the water will go inside the filter and say bye bye to your bike.i dont really mean the bike will go boomz, but as far as i know, cone filters n rain dont mix well together.
