Hi shinya ,currently my aprilia is 98 model and worst was it came with Milo kong den wait for cash to change to later model Exhaust from 1 of the forum user ,not sure whether the bike will rev higher anot ...i check the AF1 forum they said 98 is unrestricted and if its really restricted den can i know where to de-restrict it ?

 

I'm riding the 98 model. The main problem is the ****ing exhaust, the bloody milo kong. It is the restriction. So stop trying to rev beyond 9, it will screw up your bike. Be patient, and save up, change to Arrow street legal full system.

If you're using a 28mm carb, rejet to a 135 main jet. 34mm carb, you rejet to maybe 150 to 160 main jet depending on your bike. Try a few settings. All this to be done AFTER you change your exhaust.

 

Till then, you're stuck with the **** of a bike now.

please dont ever ever buy that. that bike used to belong to Dannis. Was towed back when he couldnt pay.

 

Also, they use that bike for spare parts whenever they dun haf. God knows what else they replaced it with.

 

Best part, this is how fricking ignorant the staff at Mah are. When questioned about the bike, they can say it's fitted with aftermarket suspension just because the color of the rear shock is not yellow. Suck my balls you Mofos! The new model rs250 rear shock is adjustable in its stock form. Dumb idiots.

Who told you the shipping for the polini is £105? You emailed PJME for a shipping quotation is it?

 

Can get from AF1 forum has well. Shipping is only USD40. I'm checked with them before.

Bro.. I dont think you understand what i said. You cant put a new model endcan on a milo kong.. i think the endcan will be swallowed by the milo kong. If you have a wonder mechanic who can do tat, pls take a photo and post here.

 

Save for a FULL SYSTEM. 34mm carb is useless with a milo kong.

something to add on, speaking from experience, pjme calculates shipping by the number of items shipped. more items, more money.

 

for eg, buying a clutch lever, 6.5 pounds, has to pay about 6.5 pounds for shipping.

 

buying a few items, adds up to 115 pounds, has to pay about 45 pounds.

 

so i dunno whether they count by amount spent, or number of items bought.

 

but one thing is for sure, more items bought, means more money to pay for shipping. yes vik, buying one polini shipping is 105 pounds. buying 2 is still 105. wtf? wow! i try clicking, i think when u spend to one stage, shipping is free of charge.

 

ok sorry guys i talk alot. as i keep typing this reply, i click and click. so now the conclusion is , as long as the bill adds up to 1000 pounds or more. its free of charge for shipping. hope i clear ur doubts. shipping fees is max out at 105 pounds, and apparently it will hit 105 pounds once u pass 400.

 

 

to summarise, from my experiment,

 

1-50 pounds spending : few pounds to 18 pounds shipping

50-250 : 45 pounds

250-1000: 105 pounds

1000 and over: FREE.

 

either u be a small player, or be a rich ass! hahaha. so now guys, best to consolidate shipping at until it hits 1000. 3 polinis will do. hehe. seniors, not sure if this is right, but do correct me if im wrong. cheers!

yes bro. af1 confirm is that price. because i got it at that combination. lol. or did i viknesh?

 

haha. maybe i got the race tail fairing in as well, so shipping was 80 ( the tail is quite big in volumetric weight.

 

all in all, af1 is most reasonable in shipping pricing, and u can arrange the price of shipping with steve, the guy from af1. nice guy to link up with.

 

lets hope pounds become ringgit one day. woo!

erm, bro. i would suggest go for the aftermarket exhaust.

 

since u are going for upgrade, the full stock exhaust does look better den ur milo kong. and is newer, less carbon deposit only. price wise?

 

an aftermarket exhaust is definately better looking, and offers more power.

 

arrow has two types, the carbon kelvar endcan full system, and the titanium endcan full system, prices are about 650-750 including installation.

 

gianelli has one full system too, the one u see in my avatar pic on ur left. i have changed to the arrow titanium one though. hee... as shown in my signature.

 

cheers bro. my suggestion is, if u gonna bear a high price for the stock full system, might as well go for aftermarket. however, if the price is all right, just change!!! haha. faster kiss the milo kong goodbye. but do keep it for sentimental and history purposes. =)

Oooh so the rumours i heard was right. And yeah luckily i didn't buy that one 2 years ago sia. Otherwise, woulda been a major ripoff. Thanks Vik.

 

Anyways, i was at the traffic light junction at Shun Li Industrial at abt 1.15pm just now. Saw another aprilian with plain red colour scheme waiting for the green light at the opposite side traffic light. So, if u're in the forum, just wanna point out that a simple wave back woulda been courteous (since u were wearing full-faced helmet) instead of revving all the way past me while i waved like a jerk. No wonder people keep hating aprilia bikes. Some riders just ain't helping to keep the image of the bike. My sincerest apologies if i sound too offensive to anyone.
