Just something to share with you guys. This is the original valve which i got from Liquidy. Lighter, better and cheaper than the replicas out there.

One way to tell the difference between replicas and original is the collar of the valve. It is round and smooth compared to the replicas which are squarish and edgy.

so when u gonna go PG again? my trike almost up and ready ...lets ride (without music ,of course )

and when u leaving? theres a Ducati trackday 1st week Sept and another Sepang open trackday in Nov.

Don't think I'll get another go at PG matey. I'm off to LTA later this afternoon to collect my $ and transfer the bike to its new owner.

:cheeky: on the outside, on the inside.

New owner is going to love the bike. I took it for one last spin yesterday and was impressed with the acceleration in the powerband (it's fully derestricted now). Bear in mind I'm 87kg. New owner is something like 45kg.

Earliest I'll be leaving is end of this year, but realistically looking more like late January 2012 (which is only about five months away).

Bro,

I have never seen your bike physically before. but i do read the forum very frequently and i really think that the price that you are selling at is of a great deal (kinda regret to buy mine a month ago, if i do know that you were selling, i would have waited for it!). I do note that you really do take good care of this bike too. Hopes that the new owner will know how to cherish as much as you do. hahas. :D

would it be pure torture for the rs to ride it there? maybe i should just ride the bus or plane.

contemplating on going or not. last chance to see 125 2-strokes in full gp glory.

Typed a long reply only to have it throw up an error when posted. Here I go again.

Have you seen the races live before? If you haven't, I'd recommend going. I went for last year's and I loved the experience. I sat in the grandstand facing the back straight - this not only lets you watch the bikes fly past the back straight but you also get to see some action at turns 9 and 10.

I flew up with Tiger Air. Cheap ($100+ return IIRC) and convenient. I'm sure there'll be guys who see no issue with riding the RS to KL, but I know I wouldn't want to (tiring, more dangerous than riding in SG, bike theft risk, breakdown risk). Treat yourself, fly there and back.

Yup, been there many times for F1 & MotoGP (since 2006) :D. Always using a Plane or a coach though.

Skipped last year because been busy (though I should have gone since it was VR46's last Yamaha ride in Sepang, also his last win to date).

This year, I'm using this to convince myself in going:

1. Last 2 stroke race

2. Last 800 race

3. Moto2

Reasons for not going:

1. Ducati's gonna suck

Still, very much inclined in riding there. But i guess it's too much of a hassle.

Hey aprillians, got a question bout 2T, what do you guys usually use?

Im on motul 710, but wanna try somethin diff.

Anione on Maxima Castor? or Maxima K2?

And on the bottle it's printed as premix only...

Would it be advisable to use it on the stock 2T pump?

Inputs are appreciated much...

Thanks bros, ride safe ;)

I didnt have a very good impression on maxima k2. Its really very thick and i feels it gives out quite a lot of carbon. After changing to sth lighter like mobil racing one 2t, my bikes feels much more responsive.

I think motul 2t itself is already pretty good. If you really want to try sth better, can give motul 2t 800 series a shot. $38 per bottle i think. Nevertheless, most of the people here uses silkolene.

For me, i uses mobil one racing 2T as its more friendly on my wallet :)

Believe it or not, diff bikes got diff tastes in 2T wise. Be it tuning or the way u ride. My bike ran solid on Canadian 2T (by Unil Opal) but then i discovered that Silkolene does the job better. After 4 mths and my exhaust valve never jammed up. Maybe cos i'm running on premix or my tuning. I dunno. Just lucky i guess. No offense anyone. :)
