finally got the roll of film developed today after more than a month already. here are a couple of photographs of my bike. if you look closely, you will see the road marker for 192.6 km. 4D number anyone? (if tiok, remember me, k'? :smile: )

 

piston jam along NSH. 192.6 is about 3km or so away from Melaka, the place we had intended to go to have lunch! eventually did not even manage to enter melaka town.

 

i am perched on the back supporting the bike as the driver (crouched down, in red) tied safety ropes to the left pillon footpeg. i was wondering - if it were a litrebike how is it going to go up without getting scratched man...

 

sigh. seeing my bike again makes me miss it tremendously. :cry:

very very important to pre empt and think in advance how the fellow road users will react. In some situations, i ride with the thumb and index finger on the throttle and the three fingers on the front brakes no more than 60 preparing to stop in need. It has proven damn useful now that we have so much more vehicles on the road.

 

Somehow, drivers these days really tend to be a little more guai lan and impatient say vs 15 yrs ago.

 

And the lorries, taxis etc...... what can i say? damn, earn money is one thing, money is time is another thing but to play with another's life is a totally different thing. paiseh as it might be, i think its sometimes good to practise high beaming and horning just before passing etc.

 

before i bore you guys any further, i am still feeling that in the case of an emergency, this rs125 seems a little harder to vontrol than say the phantom, my previous bike. i just havent got used to it.

 

2 weeks later now and my mileage is only 355km++ with repeated running in to and fro changi airport.

sorry, i meant i rode there once or twice during the running in period a few days ago just so to run in the bike. Tried to minimize riding during heavy traffic as i have yet to get used to the feel of it.

 

BTW, whats ur rear shock setting?

 

i turned it almost all the way down, making it rather stiff.
