hiya guys/gals.

 

Don't mean to be rude, but i am just curious why not more people are posting at the ARC forum.

 

If i am not wrong, one of our dear members is putting up his own funds to host the site, a place where we can have multiple ongoing discussions on various topics.

 

Why post all sorts of questions in a now unwieldly, unsearchable super-long topic, when there is a dedicated forum for our use? Why flame newbies who have not taken the effort to read through all 470 pages when almost 85+% of posts are "Hi, how are you, have you eaten lunch yet?" kind of posts? If you wanted to, you could do that at the ARC forum too.

 

I think since one of us has taken the initiative, we should act more graciously and support the effort, and make the ARC forum a place where Aprilia riders, and other interested Aprilians-to-be all over Singapore would know to turn to when they need help/support/friendship.

 

What do people think? Not as if we need to pay for it or something. So, why?

I fully agree with you.. I used to be quite active over at the ARC forum also.. now it jus kinda died down..

 

I dunno, maybe with muser being so busy.. i guess people jus lost interest.. I was intending to try to ship alot of the valuable information from here to ARC forum, but was too bogged down by work in the holidays..

 

I understand your point, and i also want to discuss certain things that i feel should be kept for future reference..

 

Why dont we do this?

 

From now on, if someone posts a problem here, the moderators over at the ARC forum create a topic on that side.. in the correct section of course.. and the solutions be posted there as well.. eyz, gonggong are still around to help to do tat.. You can get Chris to add u as a moderator so you can help as well.. Servo has disappeared.. so we cant get him.. it will be tedious, but i hope the rest will help by trying to post their problems on both sides.. and contribute the solutions as well..

 

I really want this club thing to work.. honestly we are really quite split up.. Nothing wrong with hanging around with people whom you can gel with, but we have yet to have an AGM up til now.. The whole ARC has yet to meet.. Hopefully, this Sat, we can have a big turnout.. that will be a starting point..

vik.. they confirm haf isit for my model? den the 220 is jus the gearbox without installing issit? coz i recelty got my pay n its only a miserable sum of 130.. maybe ask my mom to top up.. hahah!! :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky: den once its done.. ill haf a little sprint wit yer new arrow b4 i change bike.. hehe :smile: :smile:

bro.. you'll have to down your whole engine to change your gearbox.. I'd recommend completely doing up ur bike.. the labour itself is 180...

Seriously, cover up your bike. I used to think its very tedious but once you get the hang of it, you can get it done in less than 5 minutes. Besides, once your bike is covered up, the likelihood of people touching is slimmer as opposed to you not covering it.

 

Would you rather have someone stealing things off your bike? :giddy:

Thats very true bro, ppl who want to steal ur stuff from ur bike, when they see that ur bike is cover up they r also lazy to open loh . . .

 

Btw those old bird bikers who r use to covering up their bikes they can put or take off the canvas and fold up in about 2mins to 3mins . . .
