hey guys.. italian meetup 2006.. remember last yr when we gathered at kkfc for photo-taking session etc? hopefully this year everyone's willing to make time for this meetup and that the turnout will be better than last yr's.. gathering aprilians, mitos and neo's helping me get the dukes.. we've got many new faces and this meetup hopefully will allow us to get to know some new frens and take updated photos of our italian beauties =)

You mentioned in your PM to me about setting the date in Marc or April?? Quite afew of the Aprilias are undergoing repairs at the moment.. including myself.. Could we wait till March then? I would prefer a date then.. Thanx...

Jonathan, urs could just be a tuning problem.... 2 strokers are like this... also check for engine compression just to be sure. FM can do it for u free.

 

Those who might not know, I just get to know that if water gets into ur carb n u still ride, chances of piston jam is very high. So next time either learn how to wash carb or get someone good enough to do it for u.

 

Those interested to meet at Yishun Dam tonight, we will be there at about 9+pm till midnight.... come along if u want. Disc lock viewing n I bringing our heartbroken Vik there to let the wind blow away his sorrows also.....

Aron u try to master the art of riding an Aprilia n very soon in a week or two, u will be able to unleash the 33bhp ur bike have plus arrow power. I quite sure urs can top 180 anytime n with that little magical thing u saw I fix just now, urs will be a very powerful bike.

had it checked out at fm. carb, exhaust valve, compression test, and recently serviced & changed the gaskets... not much improvement. still bog at a mid high rpm. bog means the rpm stuck & a funny sound came out rite? plus a sudden loss of acceleration... sian.

he was riding at 60 jus now! hahaha...

 

aaron....take it from someone who use to think like u do, you must whack your baby! dun open throttle, you pocket will open..

 

you are damaging it more than you are protectin it if you keep goin at this speed. open and clear the valve once in a while man...maybe 2-3 times a day. gear 2 onwards you can open till about 9-10 rpm..then change gear open again..like that vavle sure clean....

 

last time i protect my bike then alot of problems..when i start giving it to "her", she became obedient. take it from me...bike wouldnt spoil so easily! make sure your tuning is right as in not runnin lean...then jus whack la...no scared! the most join the queue at first motor! hahaha
