I'm scratching my head at what to say When I don't post here, people say I abandoned this thread; when I post here, jazzy complains that there's too much track and tech talk Yes, we agreed at our earlier ARC meetup that we'd use the ARC forum for tech, track, and whatever else we don't want to keep repeating, and the SBF thread for tok kok and multipurpose. But when people ask for help I cannot keep quiet, right? Dannis has said many times we're here to help each other mah Edwin doesn't post at ARC, and newcomers like gadget28 are having tech problems at ARC I'm just trying to help, not chase people away. Don't worry, in a few posts all of this will be buried in old pages

Hey Jazz,

 

You cant just say that la.. Alot of the other threads are technical AND talk co*k..

 

People who arent familiar with ARC will usually ask their questions here.. Must be fair to them also right?

 

Frankly I dont mind the tech stuff here also.. And Mike does a good job of bringing it over to ARC when it gets too long.. I appreciate that..

Ideal Motor Sport (website) at Kaki Bukit Road 1, in the building opposite where Motoworld is, has original Aprilia fairing stickers, with some of them on clearance discount. I don't think the address indicated on Ideal's website has been updated, and it still indicates the old address next to Motoworld, but the new address is just across the road.

I think if Toshi had been a bike racer, he would have ridden like Mick Doohan - as if demons were chasing him and if he slowed down even a little then they would catch him. As Max Biaggi raced his demons on his Aprilia RSW250 (with just under a hundred HP, achieved with disc valves instead of reed valves). As Sete Gibernau raced in honour of the late Daijiro Kato to beat Rossi and the rest at the Suzuka track.

Mm, you're right of course, how can a fan like me mix up Hide and Toshi in my head when they're so different? I'm either out to embarrass myself or else I need another coffee. I guess the pain in Toshi's voice when I was listening to him just now made me think of death. I think I'll go get another coffee.

gadget28 - I've made some changes to your ARC account that I hope will help your "black screen" problems. Please let me know if it helped; if not, I'll try something else. and was glad tat i didn't have a piston seizure today.. realised tat was 2t sensor wire had gone bonker and was running without 2t for quite a while... i'm glad tat my carb was runnin very rich..

 

now am gonna send the bike for bleedin on the 2t tube..

Maybe the person is referring to the rumoured RSV450 and RSV550 models that are speculated to replace the RS250, and be based on the 450cc and 550cc 4-stroke V-twin engines used in the SXV/RXV scrambler/motards. But these small RSV models haven't even been officially announced yet, as far as I know.

 

But people can call their bikes whatever they want. You can dump a RVF V4 engine into a RS250 chassis and call it a RS400 - who's going to stop you, hurhurhur
