hey..I was just searching about this bike,tot of getting it.. but i called up yamaha n they have no news about when this bike is coming..The salesman told me tat they only have a display set .. Its out in india , i guess soon will be in sg.. One thing is the rear brake is a drum not a disc.. tat surprise me

lol.. dont know about when sg might be getting it but i just purchased one yesterday.. in nepal.. apart frm the rear drum brake it looks and feel solid.. oh yeah the tank is actually a fibre plastic tank cover.. the tank is inside(it's small holds about 12litres . havent read the manual yet.. lol) i wanted to get the YZF R125 but then due to import taxs it will be too costly.. the R150 isnt good lookin so i opted for this instead..

hi well i am not sure about fuel consumption cause i have only traveled about 43km(indicated on the digital meter) and it still shows full fuel (i filled up the tank the day i bought it on last sunday) // but i have frens who also have this bike and they say mileage is about 40km/L in the city... highways should be better.. and yea i bought it for NRS184000 (SGD 3.5k/+) and if u are frm sg, i think this bike will cost u more since it will be an import as Yamaha only selling in India and Nepal (FZ16 and FZ16s) .. same thing for me like the YZF R125 which will cost more here than over there in Singapore

Wow. This bike looks awesome. I simply lurve it but too bad it's not in Singapore so right now FZ150i is still in my next list.

Dec '09 till Sept '12 - Yamaha FZ150i 2 Years 9Mths

Its a fantastic motorcycle with a very muscular look. around 14.5 bhp from the engine and a 5 speed gearbox. They have launched a third version of this motorcycle in india called yamaha Fazer 150. google that also. All three bikes ( FZ, FZ-S, and Fazer ), share the same engine and chassis and bodywork, only difference being colors and the fairing on the FZ-S and the half Fairing with fixed headlight on the Fazer.

 

The bikes performance is adequate ( max speed 110 kmph ). and mileage is around 35-40 max. it comes with a ultra wide 140 profile rear tyre.

 

The front suspension is very fat at 43 mm its the thickest of any bike in india.

 

One funny fact is that though it has a supermoto styling, its got a lower ground clearance than the FZ150i/ R15.

 

The best thing that i like about this bike is its ride and handling. When you ride this bike, it feels like youve been riding it always. it does not take getting used to .

 

The handlebar position is very comfortable and makes it really easy to handle in traffic.

 

Just my input on this bike, since ive ridden it a lot.

this bike in? i have search on the fazer 150 tat jd666 have mentioned. its

 

really cool. looks alot like the fazer 600 with sporty look at the front. If

 

anyone have any news abt this bike coming to sg, pls post it n share with all

 

of us. I believe many of us are looking forward for such cool bike to be on the

 

road of Singapore

i'm riding FZ150i, crusing 90-110 on highway no problem, very little vibration from the handle bar, maybe a heavier balancer will help. braking is good thou rear drum brake. very economical bike, looks abit of fazer600 n S4. put box oso look good.
