having a legal exhaust, u need to get it inspected also (Singapore law). having to pay $78 for the inspection to get the cert, renting it won't be cheap also. might as well own one.

if u go ask those who race or play bikes, they'll tell u that of course full system is better. often after market full systems design a bigger diameter header. the flow will be better & stronger. less restricted. and shave more weight.

having a slip-on, you'll be using back your stock headers which will rust in time, its heavier & gain min power.

pushed me luck a little far just now... not good for health coz very stressful :nono:

felt very relieved when i finally arrived at the esso petrol kiosk with odo showing 398.2km. the other time my bike went dead was at 402km so i was like please pleaseeee don't die yet; machiam holding on to a bursting bladder and running for toilet... whahaha

anyway, topped up 15.7L of synegy 5000 and that gave FC of 25.36km/L.

have tried synergy 2000 & 8000, MY/SG shell, petronas, caltex... seems 5000 gives me the best mileage :thumb:

have you tried your tank's max range yet? :cheeky:

my sw consumption is v bad. Everytime pump is ard 13-14Litres, about 250km on the odo. Normally when fuel hits reserve, i go looking for my usual SPC.

For my bike, mileage for 98 octane is better than 95. Maybe drag alot when using 95.

Haha, I dun like to push bike when tank's empty, so I din try to push it to the max like u.. haha.. 15.7L, another 300ml to empty sial.. Damn exciting loh.

Did you tried other grades of petrol?

92 like not recommended la.. minimum 95 or better still 98.

95 abit draggy when upslope.

98 very smooth and got power..

I never pump 92/2000 before..

Fusionjaz, How does the bike response when on 92?

Very sluggish not as smooth as 5000. My last tank on 5000 I hit 305km on 13.8l of fuel. I just want to try how 2000 perform on my SW

blinker comes on around 12+L so your FC estimated around 21+km/L... SW600 or SW400?

around 18+km/L, but yours is a SW600 ya :p

Stick to at least 5000.

Both 5000 and 8000 just as smooth but 8000 better response.

Shell... used to be for more power but lower mileage.

But now they change the 'Power' to 'Fuelsave' I'm not sure can improve on FC or not. Somebody must try try see the difference.

Mine is a SW400. I have a throttle position marker on the throttle itself. I usually move off at less than 1/4 throttle open position. So far when i am travelling on expressway, I hardly open to 1/2 throttle but it can achieve 90km/h to 100km/h
