hohoho... this time really become SWingers liow

glad that you managed to stop in time.

anyway, do note that the so called "engine" brake effect will reduce slowly over time, as the contra springs loose their strength to push the variator plates back to respective low gear positions; front spring pushes the variator plates apart (belt moves inwards) while rear spring pushes the plates closer (belt moves outwards). when spring weakens, the rate at which the plates move become slower thus "gear ratio" becomes less responsive when rpm is lowered. if fail to account for that and rider apply brakes too little or too late, the stopping (or slowing down) distance of the heavy SW becomes longer :p

Yeah bro, basically scooters offers very little engine brake.

Unlike gear bikes, make full use of your front and rear brakes.

They are your life savers and never depend on the engine brake. lol

Coming down from Cameron will be braking all the way. Last time an old master taught me if going to cameron remember to bring along a bottle of water to cool down the brakes when having a break lol

instead of depending fully on brakes, can also maintain the engine rev level just sufficient to keep clutch engaged. when disengaged, tap on the brake and rev it up again.

no water from bottle... still got water from bladder :cheeky:

100% kidding

now i understand wat both of u means by wat u say. getting use it it now. ^_^

only thing i dun understand is dat how come when i apply my brakes, regardless left, right or both together, the rear light only light up on the left, and the right side goes off... isnt brake light suppose to light up together? at normal time, both lights are on... funny...

hmm... din really notice any vibration till now but when i'm exiting from PIE at Eng Neo, while negotiating the bend, i was travelling at 50km/h and my front wheel is unstable... for now, i still dun know if its the front fork or the tyre is causing it as i dun tink its the handle bar... its a dry, hot weather at 11am+ juz now and my fren following behind told me dat my back tyre tends to give way a little...

i ask them to put in my left compartment so dat i can lock it inside. the IU is not fix dead in it. it can be pull out from the compartment for about 20cm so dat i can take it out to scan when i going into cashcard parking area.

i belief it still can be detected when go pass the ERP but i'm not sure about those carpark like Wilson parking. 1 thing is dat most of the time when i insert the cashcard, i always 4get to take it out... so its more secure to lock it in the left side. and 1 more thing is i seldom use IU de, so it looks nicer to hide it inside.
