3d2n too short, 5d4n OK for me.

5D4N in HK... do what?

i can only think of shopping, makan, disney, ocean park, mountain top and harbour... go new territory for 1 day, macau 1 day?

sure got time to buy a few hagons back... whahahaha?

i have to be back to office on 28 to prepare for a very important meeting on 29 dec. if 5D4N 23~27 Dec means i need to take 2 days leave... hmmm

anyone else?

update:

5D4N easily cost >$1k each for fly & lodging alone...

school holidays + christmas = wrong season :faint:

So shiok sia can go her go there. hmm going thre to buy the shocks definately cheaper.con't thinkn the the bro is tring t rip me off la, but he based on the last mass order price

not sure about your friend but some (not all) MO organisers do earn some profits. as long as buyers are happy with the discounted price, its fair-n-square cos they put in all the logistical effort and bear risk of pp playing them out.

this is the reply from Power Motorsports...

Hi Jo,

Thanks for the enquiry about Hagon shock.

I don't think there are M series for the scooter model, do you mind to tell what model is your scoter?

We have the scooter shock in stock: #34501 for YAMAHA YP 250 (HK$1,300.00), #41501 for YP 400 (HK$1,700.00) and #42501 for HONDA

SILVERWING 400/600 (HK$1,700.00).

There is no delivery charge within Hong Kong area, we can send the Hagon shocks to Singapore and Malaysia via post office.

The postage is HK$300 for each pair.

Of course you can visit our shop to get anything you want.

Thanks in advance with best regrds,

I just came back frm Hk last mth.. Din realli go shop for susp but came across YSS which is cheaper by 200HKD compare to hagon and i regret for not buying. HK actually notin much as compare to sg.. oni the weather and branded are cheaper due to the currency exchange..

If the main aim is there oni for the susp not realli worth it but if as a holi and other stuff and gettin the susp as bonus is good.

Any S-winger goin this time for the susp can help mi?? am interested in gettin the susp.. AM doin up my Swing bit by bit now..

HK is a paradise for scoot.. hardly can see sport bikes there same like TW but HK more into Jap scoot while TW is into their own brand..

u guys really tot we buy n carry back arh? kidding nia leh cos any purchase >$400 needs to pay/clear customs plus so lay chay to carry the heavy shocks around... pay HK$300 (abt $50+) for it to arrive at doorstep, why not?

if we do go, we can consider placing order (mail directly to you) and make payment on your behalf (collect here first of course). this way you can save on the lousy exchange rates and wire transfer fees. buy us kopi at clubhouse can liow

Ya.... this is wat i meant...... definitely is not carry back, it will cause a lot of issue for customs clearance..... Juz assist to place order (if you guy got go) and let them to deliver. Save bank charges and buy you guy kopi plus dinner oso fine, benefit you guy rather than bank mah..... haha..

agreed that it will be abit lay chay to hand carry back as it's quite heavy but it's still better than u send it through post cos i know that HK side will use Vpost to send to singapore and anything above $400, u will need to make a personal trip to Sing post at Paya lebar to personally pay for the GST and collect else additional delivery charges applied which was what happen to me last year when i did the MO for the rest on the Hagon shocks out of favor to inifinity and CCK.

Given that now the exchange rate is better, will definitely agreed that the price per piece of hagon shocks will be lower than $400 after inclusive of the shipping cost and GST(if applicable). If i remembered correctly, the guys paid abt $420 in total last year.

By the way, standard wire transfer is min charge of $30 which is applicable here in any of the banks and of cos the lower exchange rates as compared to those money changers here. Beside that, when we do a wired transfer, over at HK side, the banks will also based on their exchange rates to change and also a admin charge will be incurred henceforth it will definitely be lesser than what u paid... which means if u pay lesser, your HK side will also recieve lesser and will request for u to top it up to make it correct henceforth u need to repeat the same process again just to clear the balance,..... one more thing, u will also need to know the exact bank acct, its bank location and address when u do the transfer as it's a requirement by the banks.

there are a lot of considerations when u import things from overseas and the above are just one of those more troublesome portion......

and coming to think of it, i haven't even charge for the numerous calls and emails i made to HK side to ensure on all the stuff,.......:sian: but a cup of kopi would settled it :)

henceforth, i would personally suggest to hand carry back.

that's becos u do it all by yourself mah... if u got a friend in HK to make place order and pay shop directly using HK$, all the TT and exchange deficits problem solved.

next is to pay your friend the dues (either in HK$ or S$ or whatever currency or favors) and a cuppa kopi

i do have family members and friends in HK but end of the day, u will still need to TT the money over and as mentioned by Elton before, it's not to trouble them... but of cos if there are friends who go there for holidays and doing it for u, it saves on that n provide u ship it personally to singapore .....beside that as mentioned earlier, posting from HK side mostly is through Vpost which will be sent to Singpost and afterwhich u need to pick it up yourself if it's

Carry from msia is more cheaper than Sin? Can update the price selling at msia bo? If cheaper, without carry in oso doesn't matter cos KL is easily to carry back ourselves compare to other country. :p

I am wanna to upgrade my topbox to either E52 or E55, but price diff alot.... :sian:
