paithorn, gave up the caberg and bought the N103?

the "N43 Air" looks interesting, may drop by to see the real thing before the coming trip to sg renggit and melaka. that's another thing to do apart from settling the travel insurance :p

The real selling point for me was the air intake/exhaust system on top of the helmet. On the first ride I left the vents closed and headed out on the highway to get an idea how it felt without the vents open. With the vents closed it seemed on-par with most helmets I have had in the past providing adequate airflow but nothing stellar.

This all changed when I opened up the top vents and the the reason for it winning the webBikeWorld helmet of the year became very clear. The amount of air moving through the helmet, especially on the top of the head, is unbelievable.

The n43 is not a flipup btw. Its jus come w removeable chin bar. With chin bar, stil haf to put on like a full face.

Confused now, dunno to get modular like these or flip up. Flip up very convenient for ppl like me wearing specs, but these modular types r better ventilated n haf better view..

hanor hanor... speckies like us need to think "twice".

i'm attracted by its ventilation system design but the chin bar...

* if use it as a jet helmet n use chin bar only on tours? quite a waste cos tours only few times a year

* if use as full face? defeats the purpose of selling my FF to look for a modular

* if remove/put back chin bar at each wear? very ley chay, machiam astronauts donning the suit for space walk

I will go for ventilation. From the video review, the chin bar is made of lexan which is almost destructible.

I think I remember correctly, Atlantic200 was wearing n43 when we went to krabi last november.

We can go try out the helmet and see how we look when put on the helmet

I agree w scooby that Nolan's helmets r generally quite.. But since this helmet got e webbikeworld helmet of e year award, I will consider it. Gonna check it out..

The adv if this helmet is more like, wear w chin bar on the NSH, then when reach town areas, say, Penang, Melaka, take out chin bar when traffic is slow n it's gonna b hot.

What makes stil wan a flipup is tat I believe at highway speed, it will b more stable n quiet..

anyone knows where to find best price for non-contract HTC sensation?

i only know 2 shops at Far East Plaza... mobilesquare ($740) and whymobile ($725) :p

update:

just completed my few-day reading (total 58 pages) of the Sensation thread at hardwarezone. seems this phone has many software issues yet to be resolved, no good fit screen protector available for now (many users got their screen scratched even though phone comes with gorilla glass) and some users feedback that battery life sucks. hmmm... maybe good to KIV n see what develops :p

I usually go walk around and find shops in Toa Payoh Central. But I dunno what's the best price there though.

i actually checked with him about us paying cash to ACE or we pay him cash then he use his CC to pay. he said ACE wants customers to pay using own CC, some sort of internal control issue (maybe to prevent agents from "monkeying" with sales) :p

i've already emailed my signed form to him (start policy from 24/06/2011 just in case)... probably meet him on Wed
