as long as the fitment mount/holes are compatible and length is around there, can use liow.

hagon may have updated its "looks" to make it more aesthetically appealing; the old one looks quite cheapo at the base mount area

 

photo seems to say that the one you received is slightly shorter... i was told hagon shocks for SW standard length is 430mm, try measuring them tip to tip.

if tip to tip is 380~400mm... ho say liow, ideal length

The photo is due to cut and paste two pics for comparison the earliest shocks bought by zesture.... not the correct measurement leh..

 

Today after work will go ah choong there n check it out with the original honda shocks. Hope this is the correct one lor.... the shocks is look nicer at the base mount area but the other type got engrave the name of hagon... tis one dun have....

 

Btw, i ordered this hagon shocks take >1 mth unlike zesture. Was told by wemoto, due to hagon shop running out of stock of parts, need to wait the parts to hagon shop (take more than 1 week). As hagon shocks is based on order and build it, cos they wun build it for ready stock. Not sure? When come to dispatch by parcelforce, took another 13 days deliver to me, due to "the recent disruption caused by the volcanic ash cloud the Singapore International Parcel Hub is now dealing with a large backlog of mail"..... tat y cost me so long time..... :sian:

 

Must pray hard hard it is the correct hagon shocks..... :dot:

Went to ah choong there this evening and done my installation liao .... initially abit scare the hagon shocks cannot fit my SW... after removed the original shocks and do a comparison as follow;

 

The Hagon shocks i bought the length is slightly longer than original shocks abit, but the hole to hole area is the same, no different and issue.

From the picture above, both showing the same result, slightly longer than original. But i still dunno why my hagon is different type of the others? Since can install for my SW believe is for scooter one, but dunno what type of hagon shocks only? Have sent a query to ask Wemoto and waiting their reply......

 

Just now on my way back, feel the rear shocks is harder and stable than b4, wun feel .... quite a good feeling The end result is like Chairman mentioned in the technical corner "According to feedback from many Hagon users, the rear of SW becomes about 30+mm higher after fitting the hagon twin shocks. This, they say, could be due to Hagons being 5mm longer and using stiffer springs that holds the weight of the rear section higher against gravity. The softer springs of the stock shocks allows the rear to "sag" lower, especially with pillion."

 

Tml try to pick up my gf and see how the feeling....
