And with polling day on 27 Aug, means I have 1 more off-in-lieu to clear. I'll take my day off on 31 Aug, Wednesday.

Therefore:

 

27 Aug Sat - Polling Day

28 Aug Sun - Sunday

29 Aug Mon - on Leave (applied and approved long long ago)

30 Aug Tue - Hari Raya Puasa

31 Aug Wed - Off-in-lieu

if polling goes ahead and 27 aug is declared public holiday, i can cancel my 29 aug annual leave liow.

our company's policy is "monday following a public holiday falling on saturday is a company holiday"

now my SW still ok. juz dat the power reduce le. pickup slower now. same angle of opening throttle at the same road, can only goes up to 120km/h as compared to last time de 130+. is there something i shud look into?

 

Hmm... your 小黑 still new dun tink clutch problem bah?? I got the same problem, pick up slower, hard to move on and FC increased abt 10-20km..... After changed the whole set of stock clutch last week, now back to the earlier feeling .... not saying pick up become faster lah, is just tat when acceleration it will smoothly ran, not like b4... it may due to when acceleration the clutch there is spin n spin then just move smtg lidat lah ...... so cfm is my clutch problem n time to change.....

How to noe the magnetic coil going to burn or spoil soon huh?? How to prevent and detect? I experienced b4 for my X8, magnetic coil totally spoil le then just knew it but already too liao, bike cannot start n need to tow to bike shop leh lor...

 

Btw, sparks plug denson IUH24 can last for how many KM huh? Recently i have done all the servicing and recorded all the stuff changing in which mileage, need to do a proper service schedule for my SW...

Voltmeter can only detect change in voltage after the electricals have problem. Don't think can give early warning.

Voltage at idle, depending on rpm, should be around 13v++.

Normal traveling should be 14V++.

Anything less better get it check asap. If not, prepare to tow when the battery power runs out.

like SW9000 said, magnetic coil don't give early warning when it wants to go on strike.

 

voltmeter is not a diagnostic device and but it can tell you some important clues:

* whether your batt is running low on juice or not,

i.e. if you see voltage is

* whether coils is generating enough output to power the bike and charge the batt.

i.e. if you see voltage can't hit 14+V when on the run, something may be wrong with coil or rectifier.

some symptoms when batt is going "on strike":

* when turn on ignition key, can hear a faint but distinct continuous eeeee sound from the dashboard area (just an observation from my 2x past experience)

* crank speed is slower (lower current to turn the starter coil) than normal

* need to crank longer to start engine

* voltmeter shows

 

as for IUH24 iridium sparkies, i change them every 20k kms together with my rollers; 20k, 40k, 60k, 80k.

my bike is currently at running at 65K liao. Not sure whether is it adviseable to get it replace anot...

 

Just change my battery at Future soocter. Recommanded by kenny to change to another brand called COHAN [CTZ-12s], ( if i didnt rem wrongly). Price is cheaper as compared to Yuaza..

Get it from Ah Choong directly, stock clutch full set S$280 with installation. If you interested after market clutch-Mallossi, tink abt S$350. Your only 65k, mine going to 74k now liao lor.... LOL

Btw, where do you display your Road Tax disc or do you just keep it?

Nowadays Road Tax no need display liao.

Just be readily available when request would be ok.

Actually, TP key laptop can also see all your records...
