Didn't manage to meet up with John. My leg hurts and was swelling because of extended long hours of walking & standing (queue at immigration, etc).

Stayed in room most of the time except for a few hours of computer playing and makan.

 

I think the healing cannot rush...

Home sweet home!!

8hrs for coach to reach back to Compass Point, Sengkang.

 

Was caught in a 1-hr jam at Seremban (lorry over-turned into drain) and then raining almost all the way to GP.

Sit inside coach was so dizzy... I still prefer riding, rain or no rain.

wat time u paz by seremban? i left there at around 11am but i din any... i enter NSHW from port dickson/seremban.

how much is a pair of feelfree and at which workshop? i'm thinking of trying them out for next change

$200+ from ACM. got stock available in his shop.

my personal opinion from 3 days of usage:

good for wet weather condition. in terms of hands-on feel on the tyre after running 300km, i feel dat the rubber compound is not as soft. as for body feel (which i'm quite numb in dis field ), the grip is consider ok for dry weather. IMHO & in overall, its a good tyre for wet weather condition.

actually, i am very keen on the feelfree WINTEC that is supposed to be very good for wet conditions. thread pattern for both are similar except that WINTEC has many small "worm" patterns (see below pic). compound wise, think WINTEC's may be softer and less durable.

was at ACM last 2 weeks ago and ah choong helped me check with his supplier but supplier said they didn't bring in. ah choong mentioned that using soft compound is very shiong on the pocket due to fast wearing; he say may need to change like every 6 months for high usage riders.

for me, i prefer to pay a bit more for better wet grip over durability, especially when it rains so often nowadays. and hey, i ride my bike only 1~2 times a week nia other than touring, so should last a year

 

now looking around in the internet for deals... order (if within budget) then ship direct to workshop

Feelfree has about the same usable mileage as Diablo at 20k km.

Slightly better grip than Diablo but $30-$50 more per set.

suggest you wear an ankle brace before doing that, it helps in case you need to step down.

Booking for 1st World Hotel for next year's Songkran Trip is now open.

 

As indicated in my blog, the trip's accommodation in Ipoh, Hatyai and Koh Samui will be arranged by me (included in the cost).

** I can handle this part because rooms can free cancellation/changes, therefore less problem for me.
