Change o ring gasket is good practice as it ensure there will be no leak.

 

Commuting vehicle ma. very fast 12k le.

Bike should be about $18.5 to $19k on the road.

Insurance not sure. Think currently NTUC is still one of the lowest.

 

Go ask M1 Motor at Changi (near ASPhoon), look for Xiao Long. Their quote is quite competitive and a good price guide when sourcing around other bike shops.

Get the best bargain (and service) before commit.

Wow. 5X Tmax on sale from $16.5k to $18k+ (for 2011 model).

Mass upgrade!

 

Come to think of it... many silverwing riders already upgraded too. Goldwing... Tenere... Versys... GS...

I'll have to stick with mine... this thread still need some 'real' Silverwing riders to be around. : )

Can i know wats the diff between european model n normal model?? does 400cc have ABS??

The SW-T400 (wording shown at the side of the rear side panel) is the Euro version and the Silverwing GT is the Jap version.

The Jap model has a low-end power booster (button on left handle bar) built in. The Euro have slight diff mapping thus no need the booster.

Otherwise, both look the same. *Oh yah, signal light cover also diff colour.

 

Standard SW do not come with ABS but with the Honda Combined Braking System (CBS).

Can book 1 with ABS but I think it is about $1k additional.

AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

Boon Siew only have Euro model. GT should be parallel imported.

 

Most of us chose Euro based on past knowledge of the older JDM. FC and performance not as satisfactory as the Euro.

Not sure if there are improvements done for the newer GT.

 

You can be the 1st... then let us know the review. hehe.

As far as I know, SG do not allow allow/import bikes with head light on/off switch. Head light must be 'ON' all the time.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
