hey bros, I finally got my SW today! May I know what are the recommended enhancement to this bike? other than the headlight protector, is it still $40? And may I know where is A.C. Motor, is it still at 10 Kaki Bukit Rd 2 #03-02 First East Centre, S417868? I understand alot of fellow SW bros go there. lastly the bikeshop say my warranty in with B.S, how do I check? Sorry for asking so many qns, this thread is too long to finish it in 1 days!

 

Warranty can apply online or go to Boon Siew. They will give the warranty card.

Need to get 1st 3 stamps (3x servicing done) to ensure warranty is valid. Can ask your bike shop to stamp if they are authorized.

 

AC Motor's address is correct.

 

Many enhancements available. Read through the tech page 1st then join us (FY HOM?) for discussion @ Rail Mall, Bukit Timah on every Thursday.

like SW9000 said, warranty card can get from BS.

however, i don't remember that the warranty has a 3x servicing condition attached... maybe things have changed. best is to check with them explicitly. i never did any servicing with BS but still able to claim warranty for my charging system failure in early 2008 :p

 

do spend some time to read the SW Tech Corner (at sticky)... lots of useful info and "poisons" posted there :lol:

No confidence BTW u DIY? Can arrange a time u guide me along? Where is your location? I am also interested in the cartune if you can manage to tune SW better..

 

Will be doing the carbtune this Sat @ 4pm Bishan. DIY the air filter cleaning as using K&N and I have the recharge kit. Can guide on the panel removal if you are keen. The other option is to meet the guys at Rail Mall since I have not met them for some time already.

BTW anyone replace the rubber mat before...Mine a bit tear and wear if not ex might want to change...

Thks for the info. Just DIYed and took out the air filter.....Washed and now drying....

Adjusted my head lamp and installed LED pole lights..

Anyone knows where to buy the K&N recharger kit???
