How much will it cost me to replace fork oil sral, fork oil and steering bearing?

Btw anyone ecounter b4 when u r carrying a pillion on ur SW and ran through even a small port hole which which causes something like ur mainstand to bounce and retract back damn hard? The huge bang sound?

Everytime I heard it, wah damn heart pain sia.. Lol

it may be your front and rear suspension too soft. Did you check if your exhaust has any dent marks?

If it is fork alone, it cost 50 to 70. Steering cone bearing may cost alot more because of the complexity removal of the front Cowling.

I saw you moving off from the Regent Cove condo traffic light. Heard the screeching sound from your transmission.

I suggest you throttle a bit more and see if solve the problem.

Check ur mainstand bolts and spring tension. Happened to mine b4.

Yep, I oso think so.. As silverwing ground clearance is a little low.. Btw I just did a check on my headers and both still looks good.. No dent :D

But can't be till 200+ as quoted by Ah Wu right? Anyway, can I call up Kenny with regards to the overcharging for replacing my clutch pads?

 

Hey Fazli,

When I throttle hard from standstill, screeching is very minimal and soft. Usually how long do I have to run-in the clutch pads?

Yep, replacing of cone bearing is a pretty tedious job. Just replacing my steering cone and bearing for 120 last month.

Thanks for the info. I guess Ah Wu overcharge me for the clutch pegs bah... So can I call Kenny to discuss this? Btw, I didn't change the bell and their workmanship is gd... :)

yes, you should call kenny to clarify cos it's hard earned monies.

 

suggest don't start with #$@%& like some riders may be tempted to, cos it doesn't help a single bit... loud and furious doesn't mean win :lol:

 

tell kenny that you think ah wu made a mistake (lets be gentleman and give some benefit of doubt) and charged you $240 for replacing the clutch pegs which you have checked costs only about $70+ (honda stock ones), remember to tell him you have paid separately $45 to strip/clean the assemblies so labor to change the pegs shouldn't be charged again.

Where you did yours? 120 seems a standard price just like my CB400...

1-day Kluang and Bukit Indah, 11 Mar 2012

 

1. 7.30am - Meet at GP Esso

2. 8.30am - Kluang Rail Coffee for Breakfsat (106km)

3. 9.30am - Kluang Town walk-about

4. 11.30am - UK Farm Visit (18km).

4. 1.30pm - Bukit Indah Lunch and shopping (95km)

5. 4pm - Sutera for massage (6km) *Optional

11 - 25 Nov - 15D, Taiwan - Fly and Scoot

2018

7 - 15 Apr - 9D, Phuket and Hatyai Songkran

17 Nov to 2 Dec - 16D, North East Thailand (Issan)

30 Mar to 7 Apr - 9D Korea/Jeju Fly and Ride

Going in and out UK farm you'll need to go into a pool of water. For SW, think it'll cover at least half your tyre height. So you all still wanna go... :angel:

Or all park at the entrance and wait for tehnini(tenere) to pillion us one by one in... :angel:

If you all can take beef, the Tangkak beef noodle is also there.

So far, we aren't halal ppl, but i'm sure you can find halal food everywhere.

Eh. Half of the wheel still can go thru ma. I can pillion u over, but leave ur bike at the entrance?
