Going in and out UK farm you'll need to go into a pool of water. For SW, think it'll cover at least half your tyre height. So you all still wanna go...

Or all park at the entrance and wait for tehnini(tenere) to pillion us one by one in...

If you all can take beef, the Tangkak beef noodle is also there.

Why got pool of water leh?

Can't they drain it off because I'm coming?

Need some advices guys. I just did my 500km running in. Went for my EO & oil filter change today, intend to do it at ah chong, but I was too early, so went to Tai Hin instead. Told the boss I am doin my first service, want to replace to new mineral EO and filter. Was recommended to use fully synthetic instead, as he say now all new bike uses synthetic oil and the bike will be very smooth after the change. He also ask me to change the gear oil as well. I just had a long ride just now, and notice that the bike is not as smooth as before, was noisier also. Can people tell me what's wrong, sorry for being a noob.

What is the viscosity of EO?

And how you define not smooth?

By the way anyone knows where/how can i access to my ignition wire to connect my voltmeter? :D

Can try to trace from your engine kill switch. Will link to the ignition...

Honda recommend 10W40. Can 10W50 be used instead? I'm a fan of LiquiMoly and the only fully syn available minimum grade is 10W50...

Well yes Honda recommends 10W40 but if you are riding in SG with higher atmospheric temperature it is ok to use 10W50. As the temperature rises, oil viscosity gets thinner.

He recommended me Agip, I believe it's 10W50. The bike transmission is not as smooth; previously when I am at 80km/h, it's cruising, but now feels rough and struggle to maintain the speed

The reason for a rough drive could be the engine mechanical parts are still very fitting, these results to poorer oil flow. You may want to consider using a lower viscosity index oil during break in period.

The oil might be too heavy for ur initial use. Perhaps use back the oil which u previously used for the run in period to prevent overloading of ur gears..

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

Do you suggest that I change back to mineral EO as advices in the silverwing tec corner? I had only done 500km so this is my first service, I believe the EO from Boon Siew was mineral based as well. Was reading the tech corner and found out that EO is better for the final transmission, should I change it as well? Cos the bikes shop uses gear oil.

Use mineral oil 10w40 should help to break in smoothly

2L engine oil change with oil filter and gear oil. Roughly how much? I paid $80, not sure was I chopped or not.

Shoud be about that price. I just recently change EO, FDO and Oil Filter for $83.

I have been using LiquiMoly for my CB400 and I find it very good. Engine temperature was lower than using other EO. It feels light too for 10W50 and that was why I blend 2 bottles of 10W50 and 1 bottle of 10W60 for my CB400. It lasted for 10K km per oil change and the oil is just starting to break down. :)
