I just installed the LV full system. Did a right turn at junction and I scraped one of the header springs. Anyone have similar issues?

Eh... Are your suspension too soft? I didn't had that problem previously.. But maybe I didn't corner as hard.:cheeky:

My stock suspension are at setting number 4. Should I bring it up to setting 5?

Power not for me to judge. What I felt was the engine less stress. Very easy to cruise. When remove baffle and ride, sound is very deafening and felt gd torque from engine. Wonder what's the stress like for the transmission for hard pick up...

Unfortunately, our SW's meter is not using T10 bulb, if not i am sure change it long time back. :p Two modification you can do, 1st is through " Speedo Backlight colour CONVERSION by Tachnicolour", he did once for one of the SW bro b4, but you need to remove the whole meter board by your own or mechanic and send to him. 2nd is install the white LED stripe or watever colour your wanted, either inside or outside the meter board, Ah Chong has did it for quite number of SW, you can drop by and ask him. Cheers....

owners manual recommended using the hand-brake

Maybe. But most bikes are clutch on left side. hehe. So, even for silvering, I don't have the habit for using the brakes even though I believe it will make it easier.

Not quite true. I had problems trying to put a RT on mainstand due to it's bulk and handle position. Also when putting down from mainstand, not too confident as the RT left handle is the clutch and not the brake.

My opinion, if want to reverse the bike, get off from the bike and push. That's what I always do for a person of 1.75m weighing a hefty 86kg.

i'm 162 and as long as on level ground, i always reverse while sitting on it. so far so good. i seldom get off & push due to i'm having long time left wrist injury.

that's what i'm doing... me also 1.62m

another thing is, always try to park with head pointing upslope... 2 good reasons

* unlike GW, SW don't have reverse gear... better to ride than to push-reverse up slope.

* tilt (locking) angle at main stand is reduced, thus higher risk of it rolling down when something or someone knocks your bike, especially from behind.

I did... And I have no regrets. Power is gd at mid-range and comfort is outstanding. Don't forget storage and it's a gd urban riding bike. Cheaper to maintain...
