Side stand disable, done on confusehaha bike today:

1. Put bike on main stand

2. Side stand up

3. Take out side stand sensor bolted to side stand hinge

4. Mark the sensor position w/o disturbing it's position, so that you know where's the up position.

5. Pull a cable tie through the sensor hole and tie tightly, preferably at the notch.

6. Pull another cable tie and secure to the frame. Choose somewhere you can access easily, in case you need to inspect.

7. Test and voila!

8. To revert, simply undo everything :)

I thought there was an easier way by shorting the connector of the switch?

Not quite true. To short / close the circuit, you'll need 2 female connectors instead of a paper clip, as they are male pins.

idea is to close the circuit, how to is up to our own creativity.

that red connector, which I use to close the circuit, is from autobac. 10mins job.

if you want min disturbance, can buy a separate female connector.15mins.

It's not just the SWT or GT that are using the newer clutch bell but the US FSC600 also uses the new part from 2010 onwards. For SG, it's SWT / GT from end 2010 onwards since FJS reached end-of-sales.

New clutch bell is a design upgrade with thicker materials, so that the resonance sounds produced from the designed clutch slippage while moving off is reduced. Clutch bell usually doesn't wear as it's clutch pad that wears off, again by design.

Hello to all the experts here :p,

How about changing to aftermarket clutch + bell (e.g. Dr Pulley Hit Clutch), will it also resolve the "Pigeons" sound?

BTW, any significant improvement if change to Dr Pulley Hit Clutch?

Thanks, have a nice weekend....

I think nobody has tried HIT clutch on SW; but MaIkEr used it on Burgman. Supposed to engage faster and harder, so less slip. In theory should help but will cost 3x a new clutch bell.

disabling the side stand sensor mod was discussed quite some time back...

unless you really desire the convenience, this mod is not recommended due to safety pitfalls... Honda added the sensor for safety reasons :p

$130-$145 for the YTZ-14S. Battery life is about 2-3 years usually.

Swt izzit use the same battery wif old jam?

I am not sure if it is the same as jdm but if you are replacing just make sure you can the correct capacity and correct voltage.

Do i need to change battery or just do charging with 14v ar bike shop?

Replace the battery before the dynamo and rectifier goes defective because of overloading.

Thanks :)
