AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

Front fairing looks oversized. NC700X folks are saying servicing at BS costs $150!

Agree. IMO, overpriced for a 3-model common chassis bike that's supposed to be economical.

Today one SW GT followed behind me, I feel that the new model looked really big when viewed from the rear mirror. Somehow it is safer as road presence is felt immediately from far behind. With its large twin headlights and signal lights as pole lights.

Beauty is in the eyes of beholder.

 

To me, I will choose this bike over any scooter in the market if i'm back to scootering.

 

Better comfort than my tmax.

 

17" wheels means more stable than any scooters.

 

The detuned 700cc engine shld probably gives a very smooth ride, plus its Honda. But gotta ride to know.

 

But... Say say only.. Now no budget n I still have plenty of love for my current bike.

ic, I noticed it has some blue colouration towards the end where we secure the 23mm nut to hold the clutch assembly. I think when we dismantle to clean the clutch, need to make sure to grease the ball bearings at the inside, which is hard to reach and where the bluing occurs. Usually only grease the roller bearings on the edge as it's easier to reach.

 

This is the blue-ing I was talking about. Maintenance session today.

Bluing is metal over stress or over heat.

You are going to put all this?? Unless tour at night if not no point. I used to put HID onto my high beam, and my friends like to follow me behind cos they can see the fornt much better. From pagoh to semrebam R&R 40mins. At night at 120-200kph....

No lah. SG roads bright enough and don't tour yet. Turn on will get stopped by TP.
