And wax. Many hours will be burned to maintain it white. I regretted this choice many years back. Black is slightly easier to maintain then white but silver is best!

I agree on the silver... Black also not really easy to maintain.

that's cheap, even if dismantling and re-mounting the tupperwares are included.

better to discuss in detail what's covered and what's not, what paint is used and how many layers.

Liulian Makan Session (Part 2)

Date: 21/06/2012 (Thurs)

Time: 8pm

http://gothere.sg/maps#q:249 Balestier Road

Guess what? Combat is on Facebook...

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Combat-Durian-Balestier-Singapore/159016387480898

http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/319717_354124851303383_1609387877_n.jpg

free parking?

facing the temple from Balestier Rd, durian stall is on the left, free parking (temple's compound) is on its right (see pic below). i.e. coming down along the main road, entrance to free parking is just after the durian stall :p

list used was same one as last week one, some can some can't make it.

there last night:

* scoobydoo

* scoobydooess

* SW9000

* Fusionjaz

* whyzee

* MaIkEr

had 3 猫山王 durians... total damage $77 ($15/kg):

1st one soso, a little on the sweet side.

2nd one solid bitter, some fruits really bitterrrrrr

3rd one best, bitter sweet, just nice :thumb:

asked for 金凤 but no stock, coming next week wor... hmmm

compared to the 猫山王 we ate last week at 503 Jurong West Ave 1...

* taste/flavour ... both are good, Combat's are a tad stronger though

* texture ... Combat's are dryer, 503's are a little wet

* seeds ... Combat's are a little smaller

* price ... 503 is a lot cheaper at $10 per durian (cost less than half of Combat's price for 3 durians)

* service ... 503 is ta-pow style (fruit stall with free open-n-pack service), Combat is "makan-stall" style (table/seats, water, salt, wash basin/toilet provided)

verdict? :confused:

* if wanna eat lots till shiok shiok, fart also got durian smell, 503 is the clear winner. could have eaten some 8~10 durians with the same $77; although price is $10/liap, buy more sure got discount one. i ever bought 5 for just $30... lelong lelong :p

* if like dryer and strong flavoured fruit, go for Combat.

* if want to be served, go Combat cos all you need to do is sit down (subject to availability of seats), tell "waiter" what type (breed, bitter or sweet) you want and he will choose for you, eat and pay :p

* 503 also got service, self-service lor. free tables-n-chairs, wash basins and toilets available at food centre, McDonald's is next to FC (sponsor salt if you want).

but we may not be comparing durian with durian lor... next time we try 503's sold by $$/kg type 猫山王 then we can have a better comparison :lol:

i had 4x durian sessions over the past 10 days, need a break cos nose going to bleed liow :p

if you want convenience, buy the durians and ask vendor to open/pack into styrofoam containers, no extra charges. can also ask to take back a few "skins" for whatever use you desire... wash hand, salt water, kneeling, massage, rubba-rubba, etc... usage limited by only your imagination :lol:

Hey guys, anyone here tried Spc Levo 92 before?

Haha two days back just pump a full tank of the levo 92 instead of the usual 95 from them.

What surprise me was it feels as smooth as their 95 :p

Lol, however fc is slightly a little higher compare to my usual 95, might be because this few days I took too much of the expressway with high cruising on it.

Utimately, spc petrol had nv ever disappoint me before, unsure why some are always against it.

Cursing it so much, saying their petrol are the lousiest, no power, engine rough and more. Hais :(

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

Just wondering if ACM services Kymco scooters as well, say for my Downtown 125i?? Haha.

Hehe. Yup. I used Esso 2000 and SPC Levo 92 before. But only pumped a few liters before I went Malaysia pump. Scoot can move, but compared to 95 Oct, I'll take 95 anytime. Sorry. This is based on Kymco Downtown 125 review, not Silverwing 400/600. Hehe.

ACM services all make/model of scooters.

The general technical aspects of scooters are the same.

Just did mine few months back from him too...

Btw do give it a check on ur front wheel bearing.

Last but not least since u r servicing ur fork, u might wish to consider fitting on a pair fork seal protector?

The one similar with spec2 and abv, as this will avoid & minimise debris from damaging ur fork seal.

If I not mistaken the price for a pair of it cost only $16. From Fjt.

It looks like this :D

steering cone bearing and fork service for $260

What are the symptoms and how it arrives at the conclusion that it's steering cone bearing problem? What's the age and mileage of your bike?
