1st to 6th gear all have access to full power of the engine. If not how your first gear can hit more than 120kph and crack 100kph in 3 sec? With 20 bhp..not possible...

I was kinda of puzzle whey the higher bhp reading dropped at exactly 14000rpm whereby the stock aka the blur line can rev pass it? IIRC the rev ceiling of 750 is around 14000rpm to 15000rpm.

http://www.ibike.com.hk/01_bike_report/08/vs/v2_l4_6/vl6.htm

Based on this website the power at rear wheel is around 123bhp and 73nm of torque...

If based on the graph...Your mid and top range torque and power increased significantly. Izzit a full system? Cos slip on cant yield this kinda of gain.

According to previous owner, before dyno is already everything on. Dyno just tune the PC3. Also have PC Ignite and XTRE timing retard eliminator. I think the 14k is to prevent engine damage, like electronic rev limiter. Exhaust is a slip-on.

Thinking to go track on 22 Aug, and then change all fluids, tyres and brake pads. Anybody?

runs always from 1-6 gears to simulate rd condition. 4graph = 4runs. each with different parameters. last graph is the best with smoothest curve & stable a/f ratio. optimal power output @ 12.5krpm. pull further will face decreased performance.

pg opens for track day on 22nd? full faced, suit, gloves & boots have? min go in pairs. me gian, but my bike lay-up!

Me only 4 years of riding, so have missed out on not riding 20 years earlier :( just intend to go easy and no pressure. It's such a waste to just go up and down Lornie Rd on Fri dress down day.

One of the issue is how to bring those barang barang. Will imagine need some basic maintenance tools, lube, etc.

Also, should I change all fluids, tyres and brake pads first before going or change after? Previous owner said did overhaul in Feb this year. But checked tyres are Diablo SC2 but batch code 2808?

MaIkEr, laid up means only need to pay road tax to use? Have 1 month to do so :cheeky: have zero tracking gears. Need to get FF, full leather gloves, boots and leather jacket/suit. Track = practice and not race?

How much mileage covered? Do you check tyre pressure regularly, cos the load on those small 13" is high for SW? Metzeler Feelfree quite durable for me. 20kkm and 2 years.

every 2 to 3 week pump onces. 250 pressure. now my millage is 116800 total millage is 15.5kkm. Total 8 months

15.5kkm is quite reasonable. Your wear looks mostly in center. Mostly 2 up riding? For me, single rider 220 front and 240 rear, every Mon pump.

I am looking for something more durable. long lasting. any recommendation? and cheap too. was saving money for my coil. now tyre gone. LOL.

So far choices for our 13" are limited. Your criteria are contradicting. Michelin Pilot Sport SC cheap but wet grip no good and not lasting. Pirelli Diablo Scoot cheap and grip ok and quite lasting. Metzeler more ex but good grip and durable. Don't expect bike tyres to last 40kkm like cars, since only 2 vs 4 :)

bring? most wear straight from home. full or half kitted. spares maybe sparkies, clutch & gear shift lever. my SOP is to do a complete fluid change for 2nd hand bike purchased. for track those tires need to go.

Sorry abt it. And thanks uncle for all the quick reply. Btw do you know how much does

Metzeler rear tyre cost. Or both front and back.

In your opinion is the price difference worth choosing Metzeler over diablo.

I think somebody mentioned $185 for a set recently. Mine cost more 2 years ago cos stronger Euro then. You can try not much price diff. Also good to change a set since you only changed rear the last time.

Looks like better follow my SOP also and change. clutch and gear lever? Prepare for slide? :)

i realise it this morning

Seriously if you think a rear tire for SW is too ex, you might consider to chnage to smaller bike. I wouldn't dare to ride in this condition. The road is harder than you think my frd..

I usually pump the tires on a per week basis. So those who pump tires frequently would notice the wear and tear..

I change my front in March. Went to ac. He only have diablo. And my condition I have to change it. Haha. The next change I change to mez. I was surprised when I 1st know the price of the tyre for Silverwing. I have to agree it cheap. But I was shock it lasted 7 months only. Then when I want changing the tyre. My brake pad also finish. I was like. I just change only. When to my app to change it out. It's on 28 March. Exactly 4 months my brake pad gone. Lol. Either I really use it a lot or travel a lot. Previous ac change malosi pad. Now of of stock. So I change fiz power.

This bike never fail to surprise me. Haha.

FF, jacket/suit, boots, gloves, range from $700 to $3000 total :faint: contribute to inflation again? What if not quite cut out for it?

Got people go missing... as expected when you have many cars in the trunk roads.

Lucky today the locations are not so complicated.

Anyway, some advice... when in group outing:

1. Always bring a GPS but must have the co-ords of the next destination.

2. Pre-trip. Check and plot with google maps and memorise the route in your head. Part of learning to organise your own trips.

3. During trip. Be aware of where the bike in your immediate front is going. Increase speed if too slow.

Must also ensure the bike behind is in view via your mirror. Slow down to let him catch up.

Lead bike can never take care of everyone. If he needs to keep checking back for ALL bikes, then expect ultra slow ride.

With time, all will be expert and can OTOT reach destination even if go holland.

got coordinates for coming betong ride?

me die die got to plan.

in my other group, theres always a marshall at every turning point. so far never fail to arrive together. only that over time, one tends to over rely on the group.

can. wiser also since it might not be one's cup of tea. pg after is a more technical track compare to sepang. REMEMBER to take it easier.

GPS points added in my blog.

From google maps ahhh, may not be accurate but you'll end up near there. hehehe. Ahboh, there always chance to ask SYTs for direction.

For me, whether I go alone or join someone's trip, I'll still plan for everything and read up about the place.
