sure, suggest you check out "RenoTalk" forum about 1~2 months before your target reno start date. lots of info inside... both good reviews (note that marketers sometimes post their own good comments) and also warnings about some vendors/companies.

most useful is, you'll find ideas and contacts inside the various threads/posts for almost everything you need. some of the quotes i got from these contacts are much better than HarveyN, Courts, Best, Gain City, etc.

e.g. my original plan was to go budget and use solid top for my kitchen cabinet but after reading thru the various reviews of that material, decided it is worth paying some extras for a quartz top (see caesarstone)

almost ran over a young boy (about lower primary ba) on Sunday while turning into the car park, there's a "blind spot" when negotiating the corner of the HDB flat next to carpark...

 

out of nowhere, the small boy ran across the road, oblivious of the oncoming traffic. lucky for me, i managed to stop in time but hell, i was like in shock during the immediate moments after that.

after recovering, i felt like "KNN, want to commit suicide dun use my car leh!!!"

 

also lucky i wasn't riding my scooby, else sure to drop bike (or skid) due to panic e-braking while negotiating the bend. that'll mean $$$ fly away liow

btw, if anyone wants to buy household appliances (no need to wait for reno), can sms this chap (Jerome) for a no commitment quotation... his prices are mostly much better than HarveyN, Courts, Best, Mega, etc.

 

Only thing is, you gotta choose between:

* paying less but in cash, or

* paying more but can clock Visa points and instalments

guys if i get an LTA aprroved exhaust frm another bike, other than re inspection with the cert

do i need to go down to the shop to change the bike number on the cert??

btw exhaust for all the silverwing 400s throughout the yrs quite generic correct?? cause i see that only the cosmetics has

been changed but the basic shape of the frame has been the same

exhaust may be the same, but mounting may have been adjusted a little over the years to match tupperware changes.

 

buying used exhaust? should still fit ba... no guarantee though
