Just got my bike serviced at K & T.

 

1. Steering Cone. *Bike handling now very smooth and light.

2. Coolant. *Use Engine Ice.

3. Engine Oil and Gear Oil. *Added ZX-1. Engine very smooth a quiet.

4. Oil Filter.

5. K & N Air Filter wash.

6. Spark Plugs.

7. Rear Brake Disc and Pads (replaced with my 2nd hand Malossi)

8. Added 12v socket to the front left compartment. *Just in case I need to watch DVD.

9. Replaced my Stabel horn with Hella and added a relay. *Hmm... guess M1 didn't fixed for me? Superly loud now.

 

Service charge included the stripping of the whole fairing just to dismantle the 'lion head'. Why SW-T more complicated than FJS?

Well, took the opportunity to check through the wiring. Found out the voltmeter, IU and horn connected wrongly. Lucky never had any electrical problems for past 2 years.

And the slow speed wobble? Still there but didn't feel much of it. I guess must be the set of tires then. Will change before Phuket in Aug 13.

 

Anyway, set me back by $400+.

try Hotel Puri... SWD shows "junior suite" still got room for now.

just a stone throw across the road... but dun try running across with just a towel hor :lol:

Just tried booking room for melaka on 29th Mar but not much rooms left.

stayed there few times...... quite ok la.. 2.5-3 star max

Careful of your box.. remove and put upstairs...

 

Other than that walking to Jonker is not that far...

Wrote in to ask about fork brace for Silverwing. No have.

But the website got braces for NC700...

 

Good Afternoon and thanks for your interest. Unfortunately after extensive research, we've found that there are clearance issues with the Silverwing which prevents from safely manufacturing a brace for your bike.
