Kindly plot and rehearse the route through Google Map so that you don't have to rely on the GPS too much.

Looking at it too often... you won't see the road.

Previous trip to pengerang, I tried to memories ... but in the end still need to dig out the piece of paper where I wrote down all the turn. Maybe brain not as good anymore.

how many days is the national day ride?

 

Will see you guys in melaka next week. would be driving up instead though.

 

Normally I will go for 2x long trips (10 to 16 days)... 1 in April (Songkran) and 1 in Nov (Loy Krathong).

But this year got 1 additional family tour to Taiwan in Dec 13.

 

No choice thus the year-end ride moved forward to Aug 13. *A shorter ride to Hatyai for the Loykrathong is still on.

It will be a 10 Day 9 Nights:

Starting: Thur, 8 Aug 13 (Hari Raya).

Ending: Sat, 17 Aug 13. *Resting at home on Sunday, 18 Aug 13.

5-days leave required.

Just realised... there's a built-in 'fork brace' under the front wheel cover of the SW-T.

A solid piece of metal unlike that of the FJS.

Sw9000 by when must cfm for ndp. I need to arrange leave haha

 

Targeting only 5 person because difficult to arrange for Hotel. I'm booking 5 rooms, mainly with 1 big bed.

If got 'buddy' share the big bed can bring along.

Hey guys, anyone replace ur rollers earlier than your driven belt?

As i suspect that my rollers are partially worn, as i felt that my bike starts to develop some struggling and slightly unsmooth symptoms when riding above 120km/hr.

rpm wise is slightly above 7k at 130km/hr. unsmooth as in i felt that my transmission is noiser and slightly more vibrative.

5k = 90km/h

5.5k = 100km/h

6k = 110km/h

6.5k = 120km/h *Best torque based on bike specs.

7k rpm = 130km/h

8k rpm = 150km/h * Max power based on bike specs.

 

Noise and vibration could mean dirty clutch (if moving off) or dirty rollers (general performance).

Worn variator plates (grooves in the surface) also can cause lag at certain speed.

EO also play a part. Some EO can only lasts 5k max than it gets very very light, noisy and rough.

 

Open up and see loh. Very easy job. Some more can clean it to the standard you want.

okay, probably will clean them first and see how it goes. btw is it recommended to clean them with petrol? or is there any alternative cleaning solution chemical for them?

Don't use petrol. Use methylated spirits / denatured alcohol.
