Shiat!!!

 

Just found out you can't replace the SW-T rear suspension without taking out the entire under seat compartment. TMD.

They must have also re-configured the spacing of the compartment (or related plastics), amongst the many other changes.

 

The FJS was a simple 1 to 1 replacement. There was ample space for tools and no need to remove any other parts. At most a half-hour job.

 

Now must go bike shop and change it, together with my next EO service.

Aiya. why need skipping rope.

 

Just do jumping jack for 30 mins can liao.

can change rhythm, add knee raises, add leg curls...

Seem strange to do jumping jack at my age .. haha ..

Nevertheless, will try.

Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have experience with "tuning chip"? Im riding 2004 fjs600. I saw this tuning chip which can be added on to the intake air temperature sensor. This chip basically tricks the ECU into thinking that e temperature is 4 degrees celcius higher than it actually is. N somehow this improves performance n fc. Any experience in this area? Thanks bros.

Unlikely to improve performance and fc at the same time. For CVT belt-driven bikes like SW, the most loss occurs in transmission, so the most gains can be found in enhancing it.

Just DIYed my rear suspension replacement.

1.5hrs.

 

Took out the sides and rear panels.

Disconnected the extended battery compartment.

Raised the storage compartment.

Replace suspensions and reverse the process.

 

Confirmed... my 2yr+ (69k) stock suspension got no more bounce. too rigid. dead.

Don't throw your old shocks away.

Cos you may restore back to the old shocks after a few days.... :cheeky::cheeky:

Old ones are dead. it won't move even when I used full body weight on it.

The new ones will do... hopefully.

Do gymball exercise. 20 -30mins a day. It should increase your heart rate plus help to target balancing muscles.

Though skipping rope is great as it can make me sweat thru-out the whole 20 mins session.

Will talk more on gymball and star jump on thur then.

if i don't remember wrongly, none of us have touched the electronics other than having to do replacement for defective elements.

you may wanna check out overseas SW forums, maybe the US SWingers are more adventurous :)

after replacement of the air filter i guess you feel a whole "new" bike.. as if you just overhaul... hahaha

 

Nighthawk Silverwing reporting with before and after pic...really rides like a new scoot now!

So power... My new rear shocks one month liao still sitting in storeroom... :dozed:
