does your s planner show google calendar events that are more than few months older?

mine doesn't; earliest google event on my i planner screen now is 27 Apr, rest are not shown.

 

I'm also using google calendar and still able to view 1 old year ago event.

nope, i only have google calendar cos native calendar is "kosong"... manually wiped out.

sync is working well cos i tested:

* create on phone calendar (s planner, acalendar) ... successfully appear on web browser calendar

* create on web browser calendar ... successfully appear on phone calendar

 

you wanna try check see if your last year's google calendar events do appear on s planner?

Confirm event created before your first sync date are not created on your s.Planner.

Method to workaround.

. Export all your google calendar to CSV.

. Wipe off everything on your google-calendar

. ensure your s.planner have nothing left

. import to g.calendar

. sync

. done

I believe s.planner design it that way. Some other sync had the same issue, but fix it after user complaint about history event.

Then have to ask s.planner to fix for you .. else .. I have another safer way for you.

 

. Export to excel

. recreate all the events

. delete the old events

. rsyn

. done

 

But when you complete, most likely dead also .. haha

not scary... just darn lay-cheh

gotta do this "export-import" once every 2 months to cover the missing month when google calendar moves ahead.

illustration:

1st run... import data from history to end may. when end july comes, calendar data has "history to may" inside phone memory and shows only july (1 month), june events are missing. i.e. gotta run export-import again to cover gap, means once ever 2 months.

but if thinking of renting cars on a regular basis, can consider joining car clubs.

i used to be a member of Whizzcar (http://www.whizzcar.com/index.asp) and NTUC car co-op, using their services 2-3 times a month (weekends) untill i need to fetch my quite immobile father around on regular basis.

 

rather useful & convenient (can return anytime) especially if the club has a car station/port near your home.

e.g. Whizzcar has a station at MSCP next to CCK Lot1; station has 4 cars (prices vary according to size) available for choosing (getz, vios, picnic).

 

other clubs available in Sg are:

I used this before for weekend trips up north http://www.adrivecarrental.com.sg/

As I use quite rarely, didn't join car sharing schemes...

Downside is only fixed location but at least accessible from MRT

Usually for festivities they have packaged rentals (fixed start/end date instead of usual daily or weekend rentals)... need to call them to find out.
