Last sat n today evening got some problem starting the bike. When I switch the key to on then wait for the meter to turn on everything then wait for Ard 5 sec start the bike but the bike cannot start n the fuel pump light bling afew time. Aft I switch off n on again then the bike can start again. Is tis the sight of fuel pump problem? Anyone can advise?

 

If you switch on the bike with main stand down (not side stand and kill switch to run), you should heard the fuel pump sound (some motor running sound from your fuel tank). If not it could be the fuel pump.

 

Sometime it could be you never use enough force on your brake lever when starting (it happen to me as i use a aftermarket lever).

 

Just monitor it this few days see if anything happen and let HL know asap before your warranty is over if it happen again.

 

BTW which one is the fuel pump light?

I monitor a few more days c how... my bike i brought 2nd hand so no more warranty liao. the fuel pump light jus below the petrol Gauge signal right arrow rite?

Check with you guys, is there a clutch in Tmax engine or the engagement clutch is outside the engine? It seem like there is an interesting discussion on using diesel engine oil on motorcycle in the engine oil thread.

Thinking of trying it...

The clutch plates are located on the left, near the rear wheel...

99-01 > Mito 125, NSR 150

That's a engine warning light. If remain on after a few seconds or lite up when riding, it could be the ecu detect an error.

yup correct. If the fuel pump is spoil, it will not trigger a engine warning light. Our ECU can detect defect in any of the sensors or relay that are faulty but sadly not our fuel pump. So if the light stay lite, it could be some other fault

need so help. For first 1K servicing, which oil to use... mineral or fully syn? For my passed bike i will just change fully syn, but not sure about scooter.

I frequent 2 mechanics and both will always advise me to use normal EO during the running in period for all new machine. I diligently and lfaithfully follow their advice.

oh guys! please remember to stock up your rear brake pad in advance.. hard to find.. as for the front no worries.. same as R6 R1..

 

one more thing is v-belt filter... need to buy in advance if not no stock..

 

just service my belt...

damage..

 

v belt filter 30 + 50 = 80

Air filter (after market 100++)

rollers ( around 50 i guess)

labour (60)

 

total damage approximately 400++
