Good afternoon all fellow tmaxxers, any idea where i shld place my IU unit? Apparently the glove compartment seems too small to even fit the slim IU and placing into the "lockable" compartment on the right side seems abit wasted. Also, i have to head to LTA to get IU unit and they dont provide bracket so where to get bracket done? Would appreciate if someone cld show afew pictures of their IU placement, thanks.

 

Hands all itching to head to hongleong to change some cosmetics on my baby, do u guys think 2011> models exhaust fits 2012?

IU bracket can look for Seng kuang @ AMK.

exhaust I don't think the older models will fits the 2012 models.

yesterday Sat i go pay instalment i saw the new 2012 t max le. Again the meter have mph and km . Mph outside km inside reading. No metal foot plate anymore. Thus not sporty enough. Only thing i like is the front headlight sharp enough. Mechanic said the back not run by gear but belt . This belt act like chain bike and need to fasten whenever is slag. At the end let say after 3 yr changing the final belt also not cheap. Btw our t max gear need to change not or only change gear oil enough ? Lastly the price at hl cost 21 250 without insurance. Iu unit is in unlike that guy bought at production bike.

to lenlow. Look at my earlier link . I did show where to put my iu . I was like you dont know where to put iu too. My post is around Sept 20 plus yr 2011 . You go look for it. Hope it help

i think old model looks nicer than new model... plus extra maintenances for the final belt!

what i dont like the new model is the front part too dull especially the plastic part, den the brake light aslo very small compare to old tmax .

Hi guys, changed my stock coolant to Engine Ice recently, found that the temp still goes halfway up the meter just like the stock coolant, is that normal even for Engine Ice?

 

Bike suddenly stalled a couple days back while riding, the yellow petrol indicator lit up and it took a couple of seconds before i was about to start the bike again... hope its not the common fuel pump problem... i just got the bike less than 3 months.

as our meter is analogy we can see the different. when i was riding R6, the meter is digital hence can see a drop in 1 - 2 degree.

 

But tmax... can see with our naked eye...

3. Clear LED Tail and Signal lights - $300

4. J Costa Evo 2R - $300

5. BMC Air Filter - $70

6. Memjet Evo Module - $250

7. Malossi Torque Driver, Torque Spring and Ventilvar - $500

If you take everything together, I will let them go at $1,400.

Dekitting will be done at AC Motor sometime next week.
