They'll remove the pillon handle bars and mount 4 legs to that, plus only one hole in the dead middle of the tail panel.

Relax!

Why did you choose the 2011 instead of the latest?

OEM rack need to drill one hole in the tail piece plus both pillion grab rails removed. I chosed hepco and becker.. No need to drill any holes.

Do you still prefer the Maxsym after getting your Tmax?

yes, right glove compartment. with NOTHING to secure, as per what Ric78 says, for easier removing the iu out to allow the carpark sensor to detect(if there's a need to)

it's place on the right as most if not all the carpark IU detector r on the right. it's not logical to place on the left. but, u can still do so if u find left glove compartment easier for u.

so far, I went thru ERP countless times and nothing happens.

:)

Hi guys, I'm reading the posts backwards to prepare myself as I plan to get a Tmax too, and was wondering about the IU.

If you place it in the right pocket, how much wire allowance do you have for taking it out if the carpark gantry has difficulty detecting it?

And does it fit in snugly, or do you use a cloth or some foam tape to keep it from hitting around inside while you're riding?

for me, I dyno run-in. so just have to change all oil and oil filter after the dyno, den the bike is ready to fly. but I play safe, still maintain below 4k rpm for 1st 600mile.

Did anyone else do a dyno run in for your beloved Tmax too? My experience is that I've never been patient enough to do a proper run in, so a dyno run in might be the solution...

For my IU I placed it at the front of the bike, underneath the front cover. So far no issues on carpark gantry and erp gantry.

Downside is its a hassle to insert and remove cashcard. I just top it up and leave it inside. Each time I wash my bike I take out and check the balance.

rien d'autre que le max.

Hi guys ...based on what ghost04 shared....it seems that getting a new 2011 tmax seem to be a more attractive deal rather than getting a 2nd hand tmax from sellers in the forum.

However, I'm new to this scooter thingy and was wondering how much will the bike depreciate (i know its quite subjective) in say

1 year,

2 years,

3 years and

4 years......

It seems for the tmax the depreciation is quite high....

I love the looks of the bike and after hearing all the rave reviews......really wanna try... just the cost and potentil major loss when selling thats holding me back a little.......

Advice anyone?
