hi guys i just got a 2nd hand tmax .... straight away went to ac motor to get it checked and did major servicing.... really enjoying the bike... powwr ...stable...from what i heard from ac motorthis bike will seldomgive issue.... over all very happy!!!

Huh?? Non abs better?? Abs is a good safety feature.

actually i was riding a gts200 ..... had some traction control incident before ... quite scary ... i was also contemplating for abs and non abs.There was no abs 530 on the market or its over priced for me.... so choosen a non abs after telling myself that i dont really ride that fast to need ABS loll.....

 

TMax brakes are kinda "jiak" stopping power enough for my 4th lane 80 km/h express way riding .... This bike kinda shine at high speed and very eager to move off....

 

I am looking for installation of Handphone holder.... anywhere to install it??

I will probably install a ram mount on the brake reservoir for the mobile phone. Still looking at other options.

guys wanna ask is it normal for my bike to only have a mileage of 145 miles with just one bar left???

 

My MPG is about 68-70

This is super good. Average my one reach one bar at 120miles.

Mpg at 58 max. But I throttle happy all the way.

Convert to km and divide to get how many km per litre and u will know if your fc is bad.

 

Average I'm getting 21km/l

Ohhh seem like it's 23km per liter.... Was from a 2b bike... Therefore not used to this figures

HAHAHA today i just hit 177 miles with one bar left ..... then pump a total of 11.3liter till almost brim....

 

25 km per liter ..... mostly on expressway. i no balls to sprint .... LOLL.

not bad..ard thr..mine best is 178.5miles hit 1 bar & 206.5miles hit reserve..also very rarely whack my engine unless kena 'angered' by inconsiderate drivers/riders:smile:

Does anyone know how to make the seat of tmax lower? Quite high for me, so thinking of going aunty shop to trim the seat.issit possible? Anyone can help? Tks a million

Before u do any invasive procedure on your seat, maybe relook at how to adjust ourself during bike stop.

 

Here is how i overcome having to tip toe on both legs at a stop.

 

When coming to a stop i will slide my ass slightly to one side of the seat, put a foot where i slide my ass to down on the road while having the other foot on the floor board of the tmax. This way the bike lean slightly towards the foot on the road but i am able to completely flat foot with the leg on the road with greater stability.

I'm not very sure but based on the exterior look of the seat, I dun think u can do much shaving about it.

 

Juz to share, I'm 1.62m tall, both feet extreme tip toe cos got fat legs but no prob at stationary. Most of the time when coming to stop, i'll shift myself forward & stop with only 1 foot on the ground. I cant reverse the bike while sitting on it, juz get down & push. U'll get use to it in no time. Hope it helps. Cheers
