Hey guys, just share with you some bad experience i've encountered so far with a very dishonest mechanic. Please take note that, my intention is not to flame the owner of the shop but to feedback negative experience like that so people will be wary in the future. Some of you here would know where i always go to service my bike, and what i always do over there.

 

SO, here's the thing, about 1 year ago i had done whole lot of modification to one of my other Runner which was repossesed, those internal modifications include my stock Piaggio block and piston, camshaft, valve stem and spring.

 

By the way, if YOU are reading this, i'm sure you are aware that i still have an outstanding payment of $350. Want me to pay? CAN. Dig out my stock block and piston, camshaft, valve stem and spring, gears and the polini bell. I COME DOWN ANYTIME TO PAY YOU CASH FOR THE OUTSTANDING

 

NOW, apparently all payments have already been made for my first vxr runner and thanks to the owner of the shop, i was given privilege to pay by installment judging by our mutual trust. But what happened was, before settling my payments with the shop, i checked with the JUNIOR MECHANIC if they could return me my original parts and they told me that i had to settle my payments with the shop owner before i could get it back. (This happened long time ago but nothing has been done till now)

 

And after SETTLING ALL OF MY PAYMENTS for my first Runner, THE JUNIOR MECHANIC gave me all kinds of excuses saying that my parts couldn't be found and assume that i had already taken them back which i did not. I asked the boss, and he even pin-pointed the mechs for not being responsible BUT STILL nothing was done to resolve this matter.

 

What i'm trying to highlight here is, DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR BIKE WITH SOMEONE WHO IS INEXPERIENCE AND DISHONEST. But anyway, the matter wasn't settled UNTIL NOW.

 

And i suggest some of you here might wanna take a 5 mins break reading this cos there is still a part 2.

 

Like some of you know, i've been participating in some race events in the Tuas circuit and i'm sure it's quite clear that many know that my bike setup is done by this particular shop owner with my new Runner ST 200.

 

I met an accident in Tuas circuit on 29th March. Experienced a highside, broken my right arm and hosipitalized for a week with more than 3 months of MC. And one f-king fine day after 3 weeks, i visited the shop just to check on my bike and wanted to come on a compromise to deal for my repair cost, i found out that my stock carburettor was meddled with and looked like a 2nd hand, that didn't really matter cos i already intended to change it anyway.

 

Now, the day when i was released from hospital, i was fortunate in a sense that my friend was willing to share the cost of his new VESPA LX150 with me as i'm starting work in a few days time.

 

SO THE JUNIOR MECH APPROACHED ME AND ASKED IF I COULD BORROW HIM MY TRANSMISSION PARTS TO SOMEONE ELSE TO USE. Because he feels that my Runner is still under repair and the parts were under utilised. And to be real frank, in terms of generosity to this kind of small little stuff, i'm okay with it...and i never ever had a 2nd thought of the wear and tear that another party would cost to my parts. But i only agreed to borrowed my things under one condition, and the only condition is FOR RACE USE ONLY.

 

He appeared to be really promising when he wanted to borrow the parts from me to lend it to his friend, and i said ok. I expected the duration to be one week since it will only be for race use. Never did i know that this moron was so irresponsible to let him hold my parts for weeks and for daily road use and even i had to f-king call everyday to make arrangements for my parts to be delivered. And it was his responsibility because he initiated and he was appointed to uninstall my transmission parts to another bike.

 

And FINALLY, last week. I managed to get back ALLLLLL my malossi transmission parts in place and towed my bike to Sunrise Euro (FIRST TIME OVERHAUL) instead after leaving there for almost 2 months for repair. Everything LOOKED like they were in place until i found out that the clutch bell i got back wasn't the brand that i bought. HE ACTUALLY REPLACED A F-CKEN POLINI CLUTCH BELL WITH A STOCK CLUTCH BELL and thought i was so stupid to not able to differentiate them. Jesus....

 

Then we came to a conclusion today and i asked Mr.Smartass Junior Mech on how to resolve this problem. And he told me that he didn't steal or take any of my things from my bike and was willing to pay for my missing polini bell. He said that, "WHATEVER WAS THERE IN YOUR BIKE IS THERE". I mean, c'mon...give me a god-ddamn break my friend, if you did not do anything wrong and you were quite firm with your answers. Why would you still offer to pay for my bell? And will you even not KNOW what are the things that you invested in your bike? Tell me who would be so dumb?

 

Now, the point is not about this clutch bell anymore, and you better lock this in your head cos i feel that your nothing better than a low life kid. Your old enough and you better straighten up ur fu-king self since your already in your 30's and your never gonna go far with this kind of screwed up mentality the whole time. And even after so many years of working, i'm sure most of your friends must be disappointed cos your still nothing but a Junior Mech.

 

You can take, swap, borrow or even steal, but don't get caught and ended up being mentioned in a forum filled with THOUSANDS of viewers and potential customers. anyway, here's a big middle finger to you ..!..

 

I have trusted you too much and to my suprise, you are such a great actor, maybe you can start auditioning in the entertainment industry.

the lighter the rollers' weight, the faster pick up is + reduction of top speed..

the heavier the rollers' weight, the slower ur pick is, + increase top speed..

To dyno_88: hey man sorry to hear that.. but is there misunderstanding between u 2? maybe u should talk to him again as i guess u 2 have been friends after all? I am not siding any1 but through my time knowing the junior mechanic, he does not seems like the kind of person that u said. I always send my bike to him for repair whenever there is problem and he always try to help me with better price. I always try to consult him the price whether its a good offer to buy or sell the parts. I did once put my bike overnight in the shop as my bike keep dying off. He fixed the problem and most important my part was not exchanged. anyway im just stating my experienced with the junior mechanic.

If you think that the person is not good or cant be trusted...you are freely to find other shop or ............singapore is a free country....anyway i understand how you feel...
